Sabitzer is doing pretty good so far and he was drop in that team in a difficult period of time for the midfield and he has to do the Casemiro and Eriksen job. Lucas 3,828 Posted February 13, 2023 Share Posted February 13, 2023 Another game we've done a lot right in but failed to have the quality and composure to take advantage in the final third. Admitedly, we made less chances than normal, but then I'd say they did a better job on Gnonto yesterday. However, we still had much the better of the game for 80mins. Couldn't see them doing much as they hadn't offered a lot up to that point bar the giveaway Bruno missed and the shot from Dalot. Sadly we don't possess that clinical streak really to take advantage when we need to, which is why watching us religiously can feel like a grind. That was 3pts gone begging yesterday, they really struggled to combat the intensity we've shown against them in both games this week and if we had shown that quality in the right moments, we may well have won either. A big week really for us to miss Rodrigo I guess. Yet we've 1pt to show from the effort put in over both games. Frustrating. Story of our season really.
