Inverted
People are just talking past each other here. Harder to win can either mean you need to be better, or you need to try harder. What's harder, unpicking a lock or chopping down a giant oak? It's a meaningless question. Ferguson's United would find the league much easier to win now than it was against Wenger's peak Arsenal, Mourinho's peak Chelsea, or Rafa's peak Liverpool. However, the current teams aren't as good as any of those, so they will all find it quite hard. They will need to fight very hard and be consistent, but they wont have needed as much quality as was needed in the past.

Subscriber Dan+ Posted July 30, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted July 30, 2017 So we could go off the basis that... I don't know, the Algerian league (which was tightest league ever a couple of years ago) is one of the hardest to win because of how little difference there is between the teams, or are we talking about quality of opposition? Danny's post earlier is right. Look at the names he's listed. That's when the Premier League was the genuine pick of the leagues. It's mental how much it's dropped despite how much money has gone into it.

You are in the minority there mate, the Prem is the most exciting league in the world by some distance ...id rather watch the Championship than any of that oversea's, 2 team shite leagues too with real teams like Sheffield Wed, Nottingham Forest, Leeds etc, far more enjoyable than watching the same 2 teams every year fight for the title

Honey Honey
Football in general is tedious and unwatchable. The Premier League is for people who want a club badge to pretend they belong to in competition against others badges. La liga is for fanboys of certain players who want to watch the Harlem globe trotters everyweek. The bundesliga is for those desperate to look different from their friends. Even though you've used the ninja face I'm pretty sure this is in the top 10% of most factual posts on this site today .
