Federico Chiesa is reportedly no longer part of Juventus’ plans for next season, with the Serie A superstar recently linked with a move to Liverpool.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Massimiliano Allegri plans to stick to his 3-5-2 formation for the new year, a system that doesn’t benefit a player like Chiesa, who has been alerted that he can move on this summer if a suitable bid is made.

Reportedly valued at £60m, Liverpool have been strongly linked with a move for Chiesa this summer as Jurgen Klopp is seemingly open to adding one more attacker to his ranks after the departure of Roberto Firmino, with the Italian an ideal addition for the Reds.

And now, a move could be fully on the cards for Liverpool with Chiesa now no longer part of Juventus’ future, a decision that could shock many supporters and motivate the Reds to sign the 25-year-old winger if they feel they can get a good deal for the former ACF Fiorentina star.

Indeed, whilst attack is the last position Liverpool should be looking to spend limited funds on this summer, there’s no denying that the signing of Chiesa would be one that excites a lot of supporters. And his new availability could be too alluring. prospect for the Anfield side to reject.

Isn't this the guy who had a fantastic international tournament and is a proper linkup player that can play the wing? Or am I thinking of someone else.

He was dynamite. Strong, fast, plays aggressive on attack and defence. Like having a complete midfielder on the wing. But he has been interrupted by injuries.

Yeah I'd want him at Liverpool. He's got all the tools to succeed but if he's going to get injured again it may not be in everyone's best interest. Putting aside the lineup issues for now I don't think this is the most important piece of formation that needs sorting if we want to play Trent as an inverted fullback.

His ACL tear has contributed to a lot of muscular imbalances and reoccurring tendon issues. Shame.

the same with fati at barce, players lose trust on that knee and overcompensate, leading to other injuries.
