The hype train is experiencing some technical difficulties. Quote

Banter season is over, mate. But it's really a shame that Ferrari are always too conceited to let their drivers take part in something fun like this. Quote
nudge Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Yeah, Ferrari are a bit of party poopers. Quote

Moderator Tommy Posted January 16, 2018 Moderator Posted January 16, 2018 Kubica will be their reserve and development driver. Quote
nudge Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 So Williams couldn't say no to Russian money. However, I remember reading a while ago that Sirotkin's times weren't worse than Kubica's ones in testing, and some sources even claim he was actually quicker. Not sure if it's just a load of blah blah in order not to look like greedy bastards though. Quote
Moderator Tommy Posted January 17, 2018 Moderator Posted January 17, 2018 Sirotkin has a rather decent past as a driver in the lower categories as well. People shouldn't judge him based on the money. Kubica offered money for the seat too. Quote
nudge Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 He was development driver for Renault last season, wasn't he? Anyway, I think it's very sad to see what Williams has become. That reminds me I still need to watch that new documentary about them, supposed to be good. Quote
