Robben Posted Wednesday at 20:22 Share Posted Wednesday at 20:22 (edited) Hi all. Hope you’re all well. I tried to log-in to old accounts but for some reason, I can’t get into them, so here goes. I’m Rob. You’ve met me before back on TFF, most prominently as CFCLoyal, and on here too, as @Cure and @ROBBIEFC. I enjoy walking to Brentford every morning. The last time I logged in on here was back in 2021 to tell you all that I’d finished my MA with top marks. I wanted to do my PhD, but alas that didn’t happen. Instead, I met an absolute nutter who made me a dad to a nearly two-year-old little boy. I work in finance which, again, isn’t what I had planned, but I’m glad to have finally taken a breather and remembered this place is here!!! I’m looking forward to using TF again and hope there’s a fair few of you who recognise me. Here to having a few laughs and a bit of footballing banter. In between studying, working, and everything that’s cropped up since, I have cast thoughts to here. I forgot that it wasn’t TFF anymore and couldn’t find it… 10 hours ago, Stan said: Welcome back to the forums! How are you finding being a dad? Cheers pal. I absolutely adore my little boy, but the whole situation surrounding him has been an absolute nightmare. He was born two months prematurely and weighed about three pounds, but he pulled through brilliantly. The difficulty comes in that his mother is tapped in the head and makes my life and my family’s lives a hell with him. He’s just a pawn to her in a ‘greater’ game. Got pressured into a relationship with her when she got pregnant. She went on a rant and told my parents. I stayed for him, but I got mentally battered because of it, and eventually I couldn’t do it anymore and walked away. Two weeks later and she was in a new relationship with a supposed old mate of mine. Swings and roundabouts, but I’ve always got my boy. When I’m at work, I’m lucky that my parents will have him. I think, since February, it works out that I have him 80% of the time, but she gets all of the support for it. I wouldn’t change my little boy for the world though, and that’s the main thing. 10 hours ago, Dr. Gonzo said: Welcome back pal Cheers pal!!! 7 hours ago, CaaC (John) said: Lol, you are back, I mentioned you a couple of times in Members You Miss or Don't Miss besides @ROBBIEFC you still have an account under @Walker. I hope you're doing well, buddy. Thanks for asking. It's nice to hear you're a first-time Daddy. Congratulations to you and your other half. @RandoEFC and others will be glad they have another Blues fan aboard, I love that nickname 'The Blues' for Everton as the team I support in Australia and Aussie rules football is Carlton also called 'The Blues', and as I said, keep posting this time around and stay put, there are plenty of games floating around so join in. Talking about games, @Dr. Gonzo is starting a Mafia game shortly, and I reckon he could squeeze you in to play if you want.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted Thursday at 08:47 Subscriber Share Posted Thursday at 08:47 Welcome back. Between the "Robben" and "CFCLoyal" usernames I do hope you know that Everton and Chelsea are, in fact, not the same football club .
Whiskey Posted Thursday at 08:59 Share Posted Thursday at 08:59 Holy shit @Cure is back. I remember use exchanging nudes all those years back. I weirdly remember your FIFA career mode updates when you played as Everton. Good to see you again!

Sounds like you have your priorities right despite all that you've been through, so good on you. Glad to hear he pulled through too. With all that was going on in your own relationship, he is/was the main focus and sounds like you have a supportive family of your own, too, which definitely helps.
