Chelsea were looking decent just before Liverpool scored but they're lucky to still be in this now. So many gaps for Liverpool on the break and Chelsea have lost control of the midfield.

Played well I thought especially the first 20-25 minutes... pretty much as I suspected though we lack enough creativity to break down and create decent chances against a good defensive unit.. We still delay and slow down our attacks while Liverpool are on the back foot giving them chance to get back.. Thought Liverpool should have had a penalty for the earlier foul on Salah, seemed a pretty straight forward foul to me so 1-0 on balance seems about right so far..

That is awful goalkeeping from Sanchez there. Jones takes a really poor touch and gets away with it. Chelsea's goal was too easy from Liverpool's perspective and then it's amateur from Chelsea not to see through the next 5 minutes.

Palmer has had almost zero influence today so far..

Feels like Chelsea's game plan is to try and exploit the full backs which isn't really working as Alexander-Arnold has had a good game defensively. Palmer hasn't exactly done well going to look for the ball though.

Something very fragile about Palmer, great player though he is he is not one for the bravery or tough tackles.. It was really noticeable when he was playing for England against Greece.. Not something I had really noticed before

That last minute of the officiating is the kind of thing that makes people believe refs are trying to engineer results.

The entire game was a series of potential fouls brushed off as "looking for contact" and then the fairest 50/50 you'll see in your life is blown as a foul in order to get the losing side back down the other end of the pitch, in the last minute.

The refs want to be the ones that make the spectacle.

Referee was absolutely terrible, summed up by that foul he gave against Nunez at the end.

Love hearing the desperation in Neville's voice for a Chelsea equaliser xD

Good win, felt like we could have made it safer earlier and then we saw it out with relative ease I thought.

Chelsea look a lot better under Maresca but also didn't look like they were scoring another goal there from any patterns of play. Liverpool are just way more accomplished at knowing what to do with the ball when they get into their opponent's half. Decent game overall.

Thought we played well overall... Just our usual lack of concentration at the back which normally let's us down at some point and being unable to create more decent chances up front.. Still, not expecting us to win games like this at this moment in time..

Considering how young your team is, I think today would be more than encouraging. Played pretty well overall. Made some mistakes that might be the result of inexperience, but that comes with having a young squad.

I think things like Palmer going missing a bit in this game and in some other matches I remember last season are in part because he’s so young but has kind of found himself a face of the team. And with that comes some expectations of leadership and an expectation to be able to influence games.

I think you played really well and definitely made us uncomfortable, but we played pretty well too and I think overall we defended well. Tough match overall.

And probably a good experience for your young squad. If Chelsea actually stick with Maresca long term, I think Chelsea could build something pretty impressive.

I do think when he has great games that he tends to get well hyped up in the media and the like and it's probably expected that he will be turning it on every game he plays so when he gets games like this where he has little influence it shows how much we rely on his creativity and without him being on top of his game we seem a bit flat.. We need other players to step up so we don't rely on just one or two players to help swing games our way..

A decent manager and I'd feel better about Leicester. Under Cooper I don't think you'll ever play at a level that gets you out of the bottom five. You should be well clear of Ipswich and Southampton anyway so then you only have to beat one other team and you've got an 8 point headstart on Wolves now unless they get something against City today.

I would as well. I don't think we can sustain these results with the level of performance on offer. But this isn't the first time I've said this about Cooper's teams. He does seem to have a real ability to outperform the data. I can't tell if he's doing something many of us miss or if he's just extremely fortunate.

We're such a strange team this season to put your finger on. We've created the fewest chances in the division yet are the 8th highest scorers. We seldom play our best team. The fans aren't happy. The players don't look happy. But 14th place and 9 points at this point I do think virtually everybody would've taken. Fuck me - if we'd had 6 points deducted, we'd still not be in the bottom 3, and that is mental.

We only do one-half games. Play well in one, disgusting in the other. The unpredictability fools some teams xD

It's just pretty mad how little we seem to pay for the bad and how much we seem to cash in on the good. It's a good habit to have but you wonder how sustainable it is.

But like I say, Cooper's Forest were similar. They always seemed to get better results than their performances.
