Administrator Stan Posted October 30 Author Administrator Posted October 30 This is gonna be incredibly embarrassing for us, tonight. Man Utd, with a new manager (ish) bounce, full strength against a side that contains Ward, Thomas and Soumare as part of a distinctly less than average second XI. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted October 30 Author Administrator Posted October 30 Casemiro with an absolute screamer to make it 1-0. Quote
Rick Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I’m getting more and more sick of football nowadays. These referees blowing for a foul for any little bit of contact between players. Jones put in a great tackle, wins the ball but it’s blown for a free kick. Then Szoboslai is shoulder to shoulder with one of their lot, and it’s given as a foul. Absolutely fucking sick of it. Quote
Bluewolf Posted October 30 Posted October 30 We are a nightmare working from the back... just asking for trouble Quote
Gunnersaurus Posted October 30 Posted October 30 @Stan I'd maybe give up and watch rugby this season leicester are doing well in that Quote
Administrator Stan Posted October 30 Author Administrator Posted October 30 Lots of goals. Neither side can defend. Our problem being we can't really attack very well either Man Utd could have double digits here if they really wanted it. Quote
Rick Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I don’t like Slot taking Quansah off with five minutes left. Yes, he made a cock up for the first goal, but the deflection is just bad luck. Talk about killing the lads confidence Quote

Slot has probably done him a favour bringing him off, he's clearly not in a good moment. If he'd made another mistake that led to a goal that would be worse for his confidence. Rick Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I’m not against bringing Konate on for the last five, but take off Diaz instead. Quote

I think Quansah was in his own head over the mistake. I've no issues with Slot making the change he did. It might seem harsh but it's Slot's job to do whatever to see the game out at the end of the day. 1 Quote
6666 Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Lovely goal from Nwaneri. Should be starting more in Ødegaard's absence. Quote

Last season he was quality, but this year he has regressed and is barely getting a look in. Hopefully we can see him more in cup games throughout the season. Quote
Reluctant Striker Posted October 31 Posted October 31 I still can't help but feel that the cups are worthwhile winning. Our 2nd choice was never going to win through. Just the same as our 1st choice will likely fall short to some extent in the priority competitions. It doesn't sit right with me, but 4th in the league beats a cup win. From the money men down. Quote
