EFL Cup Final - Arsenal 0-3 Manchester City

Recommended Posts

Actually like our line up, I think Wenger has got it spot on. Maybe Kolasinac over Chambers and Monreal at CB but not to overly fussed by that decision.

Think we are well in with a chance here, its been typical of this team for  few seasons now to pull something like this off.

Fucking Bravo ffs!! :coffee:   ...Sterling out injured

why is there no Stones or Laporte either?

What are the odds on Kompany going off injured early...

High  ..and with Bravo in goal i'm not even going to bet on this match now. Stones and Laporte are on the bench mate

Subs: Ederson, Stones, Laporte, Bernardo, Zinchenko, Foden, Jesus

I don't understand this new idea of not playing your best keeper in the latter stages of cup competitions. Why wouldn't you play your best team? Just to keep players happy, absolute bullshit.

Still think City will win this comfortably.

Intrigued to see how that Arsenal midfield line up

I'm hoping it's a midfield three of Xhaka, Wilshere and Ramsey or Wilshere in the advanced role alongside Ozil. We need Ramsey in the middle to stand any real chance. He is the make or break to our midfield this season.

Aubameyang should score there but it would have been ruled out for offside (if it went to VAR).

Mustafi needs to have a word with himself there. You're a centre-back. 1) be more physical with Aguero, 2) man the fuck up, never a foul!

This. I thought this lad Auba was quick. Kompany has had that many injuries he's close to qualifying for a blue badge for disabled parking.

Fernandinho is lucky. That looked a foul to me and it would have been a second booking for him.

It was a dive from Wilshere. Neville not calling it for some reason, same old with English players diving and not getting called out.

Shame about the goal, just lazy defending all round. Still in this, but we were really fading at the end of the half. Ramsey has been our best player, great to have him back in the side.

Shearer is on twitter thankfully.

Another dive for Arsenal.

This is why the hypocrisy of football fans is always so laughable. As you put it so well yourself the other day, you hate diving unless it’s one of your own then it’s glorious

2-0 to Man City!

Kompany reacts quickets to a shot from Gundogan on the edge of the box. can tell that goal meant a lot to him!

You'd be gutted to concede from a set piece and a long ball in a cup final.

Personally Im chuffed for Kompany.

You didn't need VAR for that. xD

true, but by default VAR checks all goals as a rule.

3-0! Definitely game over now!

David Silva turns Chambers with ease and drills a low shot past Ospina. This is way too easy for Man City.

Came in to say this. Like having 11 Schneiderlins on the pitch.

Man City haven't even been that good. We've just not shown up at all. This competition shouldn't exist anyway. Mickey Mouse cunt trophy.
