Honey Honey Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Hopefully we are up for it but we could be on the beach. Really hope we go at it for a top 10 finish.

If I was a Newcastle fan I'd be confident in this game. Although we are on a good run we have not played away in the league in during the run 1.0 Newcastle is my prediction
Administrator Stan Posted April 15, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 15, 2018 Seeing that Arsenal team, I might back a Newcastle win...
Machado Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Arsenal haven't won any of their last 6 away games so we should have an interesting game. They kind of need a win to secure 6th place as Burnley are only 2 points behind them.
roversgirl Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 That Arsenal team is just asking for trouble...
Administrator Stan Posted April 15, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 15, 2018 Mustafi finds Aubameyang with a perfectly placed long ball, he lofts it in to Lacazette to volley in from a close angle. 1-0 Arsenal!
roversgirl Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Shit tackle by Kenedy on Lacazette goes unpunished. Lacazette recovers to put Arsenal 1-0 up!
Chaaay AFC Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Brilliant play by Mustafi and Aubameyang there, class finish by Lacazette as well to give us the lead.
Administrator Stan Posted April 15, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 15, 2018 and that's a better equaliser for Newcastle! Good run by Gayle picked up Shelvey, laid off wide and the cross is turned in very nicely from Perez.
roversgirl Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 What a liability Mustafi is. At fault twice in that Newcastle goal.
Inverted Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Not sure if it’s mostly a case of MOTD-form, but Perez has looked a lot better for Newcastle recently. Edit: poor from Willock but Lacazette didn’t exactly give the guy a great ball.
Administrator Stan Posted April 15, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 15, 2018 2-1 Newcastle! Where was Arsenal's defence?! Slimani flicks on to Perez, deftly flicked on to Ritchie and he scores past Cech with his right foot. Nice finish actually.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted April 15, 2018 Subscriber Posted April 15, 2018 How painfully predictable that after another game where we can't break a team down, Slimani's done it to Arsenal within minutes of coming in. He'll be good for them I think.
Administrator Stan Posted April 15, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 15, 2018 Slimani has done well since coming on.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted April 15, 2018 Subscriber Posted April 15, 2018 God knows how people think these will win the Europa. What chance have they got against Atletico?
Administrator Stan Posted April 15, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 15, 2018 Newcastle defending well again just like last week. Getting bodies on the line and in the way of Arsenal shots/attacks. Good foundation to start from to get a win! Arsenal never really looked like scoring again to be honest. Even when Newcastle equalised, it always looked like they would go on to win as opposed to Arsenal.
Chaaay AFC Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 0 points away from home in 2018... yet this man still hangs on. Even when Atletico inevatably dispatch us in the Europa League he will still be here next season, you just know it.
Administrator Stan Posted April 15, 2018 Author Administrator Posted April 15, 2018 Arsenal haven't got a single point in 2018 away from home. Unreal. Wait til 9th May though. They'll pick us off with ease.
The Artful Dodger Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Strong rumours that Wenger has agreed to leave end of season. Brendan Rodgers will take over.
Chaaay AFC Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Aubameyang is pretty much averaging a goal a game in the league since he's joined us. So what masterstroke does Wenger pull? He plays him on the wing... Why not just go two up top or maybe Lacazette just off him? He has no flexibility.
