To be announced later today but reports now saying Nainngolan hasn't made the squad.

It actually hurts me that he hasn't. Genuinely can't understand that from Martinez.

How has Tielemans been doing this season? Can understand why Naaingolan was dropped if they were bleeding Youri Tielemans in the team.

space for both of them.

De Bruyne, Dembele, Witsel, Tielemans and Fellaini are their other midfield options most likely.

Martinez says it's for 'tactical reasons' that Nainggolan misses out. Which is absolutely absurd because he is the epitome of a box-to-box midfielder and he will run most opposition midfield's ragged in any matches. Even if you had to employ him in a defensive role only or further advanced role only, he's good enough.

I don't know how well Witsel has done this season so can't really comment but Nainggolan is worth having there instead of Fellaini.

Nainggolan has also retired from international duty following his omission.

Reckon Belgium will be better off with Mertens or Batshuayi up top vs Lukaku

Batshuayi------Mertens

Hazard------------------------KDB

Tielemans---Dembele

Vertonghen---Alderweireld---Kompany---Meunier

Courtois

Let's not complain about Nainggolan missing out too much.

Bentekkers though. Fucking amazing.

Thank fucking Christ that Belgium are managed by Martinez when we have to face them in the group stages. I'm very happy with no Nainggolan and Benteke being there. Benteke getting a call up to the world after this season is quite frankly hilarious.

I'd be pretty pissed off if I were from Belgium though and this golden generation of players is being totally wasted under Martinez. Although we've had our own golden generation completely wasted, so I guess we've been there too.
