SirBalon Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 @Teso dos Bichos is right and believe me that most Barcelona socios would love for La Masia to be the protagonist in all of this. But this board which is the spawn of Sandro Rosell's board (Bartomeu was his Vice President) were all part of a similar breed to that of Florentino Pérez in the sense of marketing. Let's not forget that Sandro Rosell was the CEO of America's Nike marketing committee for years and was the one who made Nike buy La Canarinha (the Brazil National side) with situations such as the Ronaldo one pre the final against France arising. What do you expect from people like that? You ain't gonna get no ethics there, are you! Let's use our brains! So, as a Barcelona socio, supporter, fan or sympathiser, all you can hope for is that the signings are the correct ones. Everyone else does it so let's not go overboard.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted July 26, 2018 Subscriber Posted July 26, 2018 They'd have been better off tweeting a slow motion replay of that Manolas goal and showing Mr Malcom what he's missing out on by going to a quarter final club like Barcelona.

Panna King Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Roma are now in talks with Ajax to sign Neres, after losing out on Malcom.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 12, 2018 Subscriber Posted August 12, 2018 Nothing like agents putting the client's interests first.
SirBalon Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Clubs always try to get the best deals for the themselves so I don't understand why Malcom's agent is surprised when he also wants to do the same thing for himself and obviously his client (the player).
nfb_10 Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Really exciting signing with lots of talent and potential, and fingers crossed that he realises all of that potential. He has done well so far, albeit in friendlies. This also adds depth and strengthens our options off the bench, something we've been weak with in recent seasons but look pretty good with this year.

The signing definitely adds a tremendous amount of depth... Quality depth!
