Eco
Oxford are a talented bunch, but have definitely started off this year on the wrong foot. Losing to Barnsley wasn't too shocking for them, but personally I was surprised how bad they seemed against Fleetwood Town. No goals scored yet in the league, however they did defeat Coventry City yesterday in the EFL Cup 2-0. Still, this team is dangerous and I'd feel a little better if they had lost again yesterday instead of advancing. Personally, this is the lineup I'd like to see from Pompey this weekend. MacGillivray Brown---------Whatmough-----------Haunstrup------------Burgess Lowe-------Clarke--------Close Curtis Pitman----------Chaplin/Hawkins What to watch for: 1 word...possession. We have been awful this year holding onto the ball, and I think they are going to have to focus on that in this game, especially if we grab another early lead. The midfield has been awful retaining possession, and so I need to see some form of teamwork this weekend in working the ball around the pitch. Prediction: We will certainly score against this bad, Oxford defense, and I do think that it's likely we continue on our good run. Portsmouth 2-0 Oxford United

Pig on the Wing
I'm almost confident going into an away game - I haven't experienced that feeling in about four years. We've been actually semi-competent for long periods of games against three of the better sides in the division, and actually look to pose a threat. Reading are shite and will certainly be in the relegation mix with us come April. Nailed on Reading win then...
