He's been caretaker manager of your lot a couple of times hasn't he? And Marseille fans seem to like him. He has indeed and done an admirable job each time given the shit circumstances he's had to work with He's a good egg but isn't interested in full-time management.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted January 24, 2019 Subscriber Posted January 24, 2019 Shame as I hoped this would work out for Henry. Beggars belief how awful Monaco have been even when you account for the number of players they've sold. Title winners to relegation zone in 2 and a half years is something special in any league.
Subscriber JoshBRFC+ Posted January 25, 2019 Subscriber Posted January 25, 2019 Va va voom is probably how I’d describe his time at Monaco. Shame, loved him as a player and wanted him to do well.

Hopefully he does end up turning it around but I have to say it's always slightly enjoyable when pundits that slate managers all week and behave in a condescending manner find out that it's a lot more difficult than moving players around on a touch screen. Don't most fans do that to be fair

Level headed managers don't go along with the attitude of "if they're playing poorly then send them all to the reserves to teach them a lesson" yet this was his final move as manager... Hope he can learn from this going forward but if he wants to continue managing, he'll have to start with a smaller team and build his way back up. Not sure if he's willing to do that or not. Don't think he should give up and go back to being a pundit though.
Moderator CaaC (John) Posted January 25, 2019 Moderator Posted January 25, 2019 Quote Monaco has agreed to bring former coach Leonardo Jardim back in to replace Thierry Henry, just three months after he was sacked. Harry Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Gary Neville: I bet you can't get sacked and return to Sky Sports quicker than i did Henry: Hold my beer....
...Dan Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Monaco will have to pay €10-15m to get rid of Henry...on top of the €8 or 9m they paid to get rid of Jardim three months ago. What a mess.
...Dan Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 This pretty much confirms that Jardim is coming back.
