Hahahaha is right.

Everton aren't we.

Honestly, I think the decision is a bit weird.

The UNESCO status stays only if the docklands doesn't see much needed regeneration -it might be historic, but it's well run down... and developing it a bit would do wonders for Merseyside's local economy.

But developing it means that some of the historic character of the docklands gets destroyed (although I think every development proposal I've seen has shown that they're doing quite a lot to retain as much of the "historical character" as possible - I don't know how possible that is while making new developments... but it honestly should be something considered for a part of the city deemed "historical").

And I'm not sure having the UNESCO status really outweighs the economic benefits of the proposed redevelopments, including the new Everton stadium. And pretty much everyone I know on Merseyside feels the same way.

So the news of the UNESCO heritage status being lost was sort of met with the reaction of "oh no... anyways..."

She got dollar

Fenty’s Fortune: Rihanna is now officially a billionaire, but it's not because of her music

Rihanna is now worth $1.7 billion, Forbes estimates—making her the wealthiest female musician in the world and second only to Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer. But it’s not her music that’s made her so wealthy. The bulk of her fortune (an estimated $1.4 billion) comes from the value of Fenty Beauty, of which Forbes can now confirm she owns 50%. Much of the rest lies in her stake in her lingerie company, Savage x Fenty, worth an estimated $270 million, and her earnings from her career as a chart-topping musician and actress.

Fair play to her. Making wise investments to 'fall back on' should the music career go tits up or she just doesn't fancy it any more.

Yes PKK

Do you think that’s likely or do you think it’s just things Erdogan’s saying to blame a hated group while public opinion over the government response to the fires has been getting more critical.

If it is true, I’m not sure eco-terrorism is a great way to convince anyone to support them.

Yeah I just stated what's being speculating. The scale of the fires are way too much for it being an inside job they are reaching Greece as well

I mean, are we sure about that? Fires can spread with fast winds if not enough is done to contain those fires - which often requires a shitload of manpower. One criticism of the Turkish government has been how slow they've been to respond to fires that were already large and spreading rapidly, compared to how other similar sized fires have been dealt with in other countries.

And even if work is being done to contain a fire, the wind can undo a lot of that work and the spread can continue to grow.

Looks like incel terrorism to me.

Time they got cracked down on as hard as Islamic terrorists are.

The western world really needs to go back to a time where the definition of terrorism was rooted in the actual definition of terrorism (which tbf, I dunno if this gunman was politically motivated or not - so maybe he was just a fucking nutter)... instead of treating things as terror/non-terror based on the ethnicty/religion of the perpetrators.

But at the end of the day, I dunno if this was terrorism or not... I just know it's an absolute tragedy. I feel for the family and friends of the victims - it's a sudden and needless loss for all of them. I think considering the number of reported gunshots... it's pretty lucky the death toll is as low as it was.

Having looked at some of his social media postings... I agree with @Inverted - this is another incident of incel terrorism.

The radicalisation of weirdos on the subreddits he frequented is scary as fuck, tbh. Something needs to be done about radicalising weirdos, because they'll go out and commit these awful crimes every once in a while.
