Ali Sadpara & his team who were on to climb K2 in winter without oxygen are now missing. They were last seen on the bottleneck, vertical climb just before the summit. Hardest part of the climb.

Rescue operation is on the way. Very hard to survive in such extreme weather

Al Jazeera documentary on the Bangladeshi army chief & PM running criminal gangs using their state power lol talk about making your country your bitch. Not really surprised since a lot of news were coming from there.

Made a Bangladeshi friend back in Thailand, he used to talk about these things. A coomon disease elsewhere in the region.

Things are getting really bad in Myanmar, with 38 unarmed demonstrators shot dead by the police and military forces on Wednesday alone, bringing the number of deaths to around 60, with hundreds injured and thousands arrested/disappeared. Some videos taken are just shocking. Machine guns, sniper headshots, brutal beatings.

Something has gone down in Rhondda. Only a 'serious incident' being disclosed so far.

Lot of speculation around but don't really want to add to it as its not proven yet.

@Bluebird Hewitt guessing you're close if I remember correctly?

I'm a little out of the way as where it took place is nearby Treorchy. My mate and his missus however, are the other side of Treorchy, so this is close for them.

Imran Khan won confidence vote of the parliament by 178 votes after he asked for it himself. He became PM by 176 votes. The guy is delusionaly self confident like in his playing days. I like that in a Prime Minister

Isn't it a bit too expensive even for US military standards?

Nothing is ever too expensive when it comes to US military spending... They can always charge their citizens even more than they do now for basic medical care in order to make up for it
