O.o.

I think he meant there will be no penalties tonight unless it's full time plus extra time and the teams are level... then there will be penalties

Tottenham had a perfectly viable excuse to lose in 90 minutes tonight with all their injuries, yet they still found a way to force it to penalties where you've got a 50/50 chance so that they could lose in a manner that brings their mentality into question again.

Classic Spurs .

Decent two hours of entertainment.

Well we just squeeked through in the end... We are so woeful in the final third Sarri must be losing his mind in frustration.. So many decent opportunities getting wasted in front of goal it's hard to fathom sometimes... Take Pedro off who had a poor game by his standards brought Willian on who had an equally if not worse game.. When you bring fresh legs on you expect that to make a telling difference but not tonight..

Spurs did well considering they are depleted which really shows the level we are achieving currently. We were at full strength and they still scored and gave us a few scares... It's something you would have expected us to cope with fairly comfortably but we didn't.. A lot gets made of Sarris tactics and some may have a point but when chances are being created he can't be expected to be there holding players hands or nodding them in himself..

From a Spurs point of view all these injuries have come at a bad time, they have to be wondering at what point they can kick on from being close to actually winning something and taking that extra step and actually doing it.. The result will obviously lift the spirits for us but not sure what damage it might do to Spurs now in the league.. At this level you need depth to compete on all fronts and they looking pretty threadbare at the moment..

Unlucky @Storts you called it...

Chelsea should learn from us!  Stop signing other team's cast-offs!

I often feel like we have the players that are just one or two levels down from what we need to be a truly great side.. with the exception of Hazard we need to be getting in better more skillful players to be on par with the likes of City or we will always either be relying on them having a terrible season to win the league or accept we will more often than not always come in second or third place...
