Guest
Venezuela are no mugs, especially with their new younger players coming in. Also an in-form Salomon Rondon. Argentina will win but as always I can see it being contested.
Eco
Hope Venezuela get something here. Would love to see if Rondon and Josef can work together up front, but I doubt it.
Cicero
I hope Argentina go back to two strikers. I remember when they bossed 2014 WC qualifiers playing Aguero, Higuain, and Messi together.
Spike
The only thing that Venezuela could beat Argentina at is a competition for corruption.

Guest
Everything keeps indicating to me that Argentina are only going to keep getting worse. They have good players coming through as they usually do but not at a rapid pace like they used to. Venezuela are the opposite, they are headed for a golden generation. They also have a class manager like Dudamel who's working on all fronts.

Guest
Dudamel wants to resign from the Venezuela post. That would be a shame, as he's a tremendous manager and done some incredible work at youth and senior level. Politics are beginning to get involved with the national team again. I want to know if he actually saw the game. Only Messi and Lautaro performed well. My goodness Argentina were shocking. Mercado should be setting an example but after a performance like that, he needs to be dropped.
