Moderator Tommy Posted July 16, 2023 Moderator Posted July 16, 2023 Djokovic starting to look exhausted. Quote
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted July 16, 2023 Subscriber Posted July 16, 2023 Tuned in just before the second set tie break. Alcaraz has been magnificent. Djokovic looks bamboozled and broken (for now). Quote

Moderator Tommy Posted July 16, 2023 Moderator Posted July 16, 2023 The umpire sounds so stereotypical British. Like from those movies from the 60's. I mean not just the accent, his voice, the way he speaks. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted July 16, 2023 Administrator Posted July 16, 2023 5 sets it is! Come on Alcaraz, find some more strength within you! Quote
Administrator Stan Posted July 16, 2023 Administrator Posted July 16, 2023 I can't call this. Each time I think Alcaraz looks spent, he pulls out some brilliant winners to hold the game. 1 Quote
Moderator Tommy Posted July 16, 2023 Moderator Posted July 16, 2023 Yesssss, the first break of the 5th set goes to Alcaraz! Quote
Moderator Tommy Posted July 16, 2023 Moderator Posted July 16, 2023 lol Djokovic raging. Dickhead. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted July 16, 2023 Administrator Posted July 16, 2023 Djokovic smashing his racket. Obviously quite angry. Andrew Castle says 'that's alright' Bet if that was any other player he wouldn't think it... Quote
Moderator Tommy Posted July 16, 2023 Moderator Posted July 16, 2023 Oh god, Carlos, please don't choke. Quote
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted July 16, 2023 Subscriber Posted July 16, 2023 Alcaraz about to serve for it. One of the commentators said earlier he has some of the best traits from Nadal, Federer and Djokovic. I do get major Rafa vibes more than the others but otherwise hard to argue. Quote
Moderator Tommy Posted July 16, 2023 Moderator Posted July 16, 2023 Holy shit. That kid is brilliant. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted July 16, 2023 Administrator Posted July 16, 2023 Get innnnn! Alcaraz wins! Quote

Such similar style. Think he trained at his academy? Quote

Moderator Tommy Posted July 16, 2023 Moderator Posted July 16, 2023 The first player to win Wimbledon in 20 years who is not Federer, Nadal, Murray or Djokovic. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted July 16, 2023 Administrator Posted July 16, 2023 Some of the winners he made were incredible. Really settled in the 2nd set and then it became a real battle, and a proper final. Really enjoyable to watch. Deserving winner. I can't wait for more titles from Alcaraz. Quote
Lucas Posted July 16, 2023 Posted July 16, 2023 Sensational from Alcaraz, I really thought he'd choke swrving cor the match but he handled it like a champ. Comes across a lovely fella too. Hahahaha have that Novak and you can keep your crocodile tears too. Lucky not to avoid a court violation for his act of petulance on top of his time wasting. Quote

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted July 16, 2023 Subscriber Posted July 16, 2023 Hopefully Alcaraz gets good competition from the likes of Ruud, Rune, Sinner in the long term because as soon as he's bagged another handful of grand slams over the next 3 years he'll be the one who we all say is boring for dominating . Nothing against Djokovic (or Nadal or Federer) but it's long overdue for one of the "next gen" players to prise the torch out of the hands of the old big three. 1 Quote
