DeadLinesman Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 What a hit son. That angle from behind is brilliant.
Eco Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Sadly the Union Berlin match isn't televised here today, but the Stuttgart match is followed by the Bayern one.

Michael Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Just now, Eco said: Why? I would think you'd want as many 2. Bundesliga teams in there as possible. I don't care who we play, in fact I'd like us to win in style against stronger sides if we do indeed win. Also I like Leverkusen's team, they have some really talented players. VFB Stuttgart would do well to concentrate on getting promoted. The DFB Cup is a kind of distraction, a big club like them needs to be in the Bundesliga and all their main priorities should be in achieving that goal in my opinion.
Eco Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 I think he's on at first look..but we shall see what VAR determines
Eco Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Wow - an pretty immediate decision that it's no goal. Match remains 0-0

Eco Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Another goal for Bayer is disallowed for offside.
Eco Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Can't be offsides on an own goal, and that's how Leverkusen takes the lead.
Michael Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 17 minutes ago, Eco said: Another goal for Bayer is disallowed for offside. But they now finally have a goal that counts! Leverkusen 1-0 Stuttgart!
Eco Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Replays showing the keeper punching the ball, only for it to hit the back of his hand, go behind him and into the net.

Eco Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 What the...? Stuttgart score to make it 2-1 Leverkusen.
Michael Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 5 minutes ago, Eco said: What the...? Stuttgart score to make it 2-1 Leverkusen. I think it's all but a consolation goal and yeah, Stuttgart have been poor today.
Michael Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Well, Leverkusen advance and the next big game in the cup in a few minutes is Bayern v Hoffenheim. I'm torn between watching that or the Tottenham v Southampton FA Cup match.
God is Haaland Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Boateng keeps on giving this season. Bless him!

Hoffenheim's lead was short lived though, it only lasted 5 minutes. Boateng is past it though, he used to be one of the best defenders in the world, many would say the best, but he's really not as good as he was anymore.
Devil-Dick Willie Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Yeah Muller popping up like he does.
Michael Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 9 minutes ago, Devil-Dick Willie said: And again Muller's is Mr Bayern, he's always scoring important goals for them when he's given the chance to play. I like Kimmich and Tolisso in the defensive midfield area. Those two look like they can combine well, distribute the ball with accuracy and score as well on occasions. There's just so much talent in that Bayern squad.
Michael Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 3-1 to Bayern at half-time, Lewandowski with Bayern's 3rd goal. As expected, Bayern are dominating Hoffenheim at the Allianz Arena.
