  1. For me this is definitely a worse Argentina side Messi has to the one Maradona had. By quite some margin too...

  2. I still can't believe Price is going in with Povetkin a truly dangerous mismatch. I saw the head to head yesterday and it's mental how big Price is, but Povetkin KO is the only outcome. I hope Price lets his hands go, he's going to gas after 3 rounds so he needs to let his hands go and hope he lands a lucky shot. Price fights are always interesting because there's the 'what if' Price does land that right hand. Anyway, it'll still be Povetkin KO. Joshua KO as well mid-rounds. I think Parker can make Joshua miss and can land punches himself as he has the faster hand speed, but he doesn't have enough power to trouble Joshua and at some point Joshua will land a few combinations clean and end it. Remember, Parker struggled past Hughie Fury and arguably even lost the fight! He also only beat Ruiz on a MD

  4. Philipp Bargfrede extended his contract today. He´s seemingly becoming an one club player.

  5. I think to some extent it also shows you how the world has gone mad and how the court of public opinion is leading to sentences that do not got the crime. A year out of the game and 3 million dollars in lost revenue for knowing about the scratching of one side of a ball in a game they were going to lose anyway. There'd be less of a punishment for jumping into the stands and smacking rival fans in the face with your cricket bat. The punishment should be appropriate to the crime not to the level of public outrage generated.

  6. Used to watch some of the Singapore and Malaysia matches when I lived in Singapore. Incredibly passionate supporters. The groundwork and framework for football in ASEAN nations is already there. Now all they need is investment and technical know-how if they want to truly make an impact on the international stage.

  8. Saul: "Busquets plays the ball to you in a way that you can figure out what to do next. If he plays it to the back of you it's for you to return it, if he plays it to your front it's because you're free to turn. For me to do that, I must be focused and it's mentally tiring. It comes naturally to him."
