  1. No complaints here. Hell, they are welcome to buy more Chelsea rejects as well. Bakayoko anyone?

  2. NOW I get your other post.... Pretty heavy going in places and by that I mean fairly grim for all those connected to it.. Incredible what happened really and how things were being dealt with just unbelievable... some incredible sacrifices especially the miners who probably brought the only decent laughs to whole sorry saga.. Indeed...

  3. Exactly, should be giving them new deals every 12-18 months imo. It's what we have always done until recently, problem is player power is increasing and players like Ramsey are showing the way. Watch Eriksen and Toby follow his example. Got to tie them down when you can because when they get down to 2 years and under all the cards shift into their hands

  7. Well I like the sound of Zouma not fitting in with the way they like to play out of the back and looking like a liability... so while I don't want to wish anyone injury or a slow recovery from injury - it'd be nice if that's a bit too early for Rudiger's injury timetable for him to make it out onto the pitch. Because liabilities at the back against our high press are a fantastic mix for us. Rudiger's a good player though, I think he's underrated, and he should be first choice for Chelsea over both Zouma and the Danish lad that sometimes looks fantastic and sometimes looks shite.

  9. This may have been said previously I haven't read back but think this could actually have been the best transfer window Chelsea could have asked for - and actually being forced into this situation will be so beneficial in the long run. You have a chance to clear out players, either ageing, ineffective or otherwise, and really take stock of what you have in the young players at the club. Something that just wouldn't have happened otherwise. You've got an incredible youth system - have done for many years - and a lot of talented players just waiting for a chance. You've also now got the prime opportunity to bring in a manger that bleeds Chelsea, in a situation that allows him the time to grow and develop with these young players that in no other situation he would have got at your club. Whilst there are certainly deficiencies in the squad, you have a chance to find out properly where they are, whilst gaining Champions League income, and being able to keep it aside to spend next year when you have a better idea of what you actually have to work with. For most clubs this would have been a disaster but I actually think long term this is a real positive for you. Finishing 3rd last year was absolutely critical though and now allows you the opportunities I've just described whilst having the cushion of huge financial reward.

  10. Think it's easy to forget at times that it's the very site his Dad died. It must be hard to go there at times. Fair play to him though for picking it up. He'll do well, I'm sure.

  12. That's me and the wife and family a wee bit relieved now thank fuck, our son went to the docs about 6 weeks ago as he found 2 small lumps around his old fella (dick), so as a precaution the doc arranged a hospital appointment to get them removed in case it was cancerous, he had the op a month ago and got them removed and had to wait for a month so they could examine the lumps and let him know. He has just got back from the hospital and the results came in as ok and they said it was just a virus he must have had that caused the lumps and really he did not need the op and antibiotics would have cured the lumps but we are glad he got the all-clear anyway. He has just left after letting us know the results and I asked him what did he have planned now that worry was over with and he said "Well pops, my mate has been nipping my brain to play some matches in his team (Sunday League) and I can do it now but tomorrow night I am going out with my mates and get FUCKING SLOSHED seeing I have not had a decent drink for over a month because of my bollocks carry on".
