  2. London and the South East are the priority, that's very clear. As soon as London went into Tier 2, guess what there is financial help available for them? Not when Liverpool and Manchester were there though. It's a joke and shows how much we need a federal England. There is no way on earth London would be in a lockdown by itself, this is why we're seeing this farce of every other city being put in tier 3. It's all to protect London. London was the hotspot at the start of this, would never ever haven been locked down. When will the North realise that the south is laughing at them.

  3. I can't believe I'm saying this... because honestly, I think it's stupid there's international football during a pandemic... but with the Fabinho injury and it not being clear when he's back... thank god there's an international break coming up.

  4. It was good. Not as spicy as the marinate that I tasted when I marinated it? It kind of tasted weaker after being cooked. Still decent though, and I know what to do better next time.

  5. Glad you like it... Keep on watching, it gets more interesting, especially with the reveal how the tragedy really should have been avoided.

  6. Anthropoid. Really, really intense movie. True story based during the time of the holocast, Jamie Dornan and Cillian Murphy star as two Czech exiles parachuted into their 'home' country on a secret mission to assassinate General Reinhard Heydrich, the main man behind the final solution and third in command under Hitler. Cillian Murphy in particular is brilliant in his role, showing great emotion and conviction in a seemingly impossible mission. The final 45mins of this film are incredibly tense as the resistance fight an improbable task. 8.3/10

  9. There's an interesting documentary mini-series (4 episodes) called "Challenger: The Final Flight" on Netflix. It's an in depth look into the tragic incident of 1986, including the events leading to it, the people involved, as well as the general overview of the Space Shuttle program. Highly recommended.

  10. There was an explosion at a school in Pakistan: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/oct/27/pakistan-blast-at-seminary-in-peshawar-kills-injured ...meanwhile, the Pakistani government is joining much of the Islamic world's governments in being outraged about cartoons being projected onto buildings in France. And don't get me wrong, I think trolling Islamic extremists is giving into their idea that there is a culture war between Muslims & non-Muslims - which sort of serves to prove their propaganda right. And maybe resorting to an official government stance of trolling isn't the smartest thing to do - but I do think that France has been dealing with this bullshit for long enough and it's understandable that so many citizens and the government would have a really emotional response to this happening AGAIN in France - but this time in a pandemic. Sort of boggles my mind how many official government statements have denounced how France has reacted as though the biggest victim out of recent events isn't the man who very literally lost his head.

  12. If anyone knows the game of Indian savoury snacks, we cooked 'gathia' today. Also known as 'tikki sev' in some areas too. Did huge amounts in preparation for Diwali (it's why I love this time of year!). This is just a fraction of what we made...
