  1. Yes, keep on watching, the series cover that all in detail... It's crazy how the engineers who actually tried to intervene and get the launch delayed still felt guilty and blamed themselves for the rest of their lives, whereas NASA management who decided to launch despite knowing the risks and ignoring them said they did not feel guilty at all and would have made the same decision again, because they thought it was the right decision Mental.

  2. I kind of look forward to this. Sargent as the only striker I mean. I think everyone seems to be waiting for him to be a true, main striker. This is the first time and a chance to see what he can really do. Kind of a shit or get off the pot situation.

  3. That's right. Injuries alone are bad enough. We also have to worry about no one contracting COVID.

  4. Just found this and it's a good read, the NASA management should have listened to Bob Ebeling and his engineers about the O rings and the cold weather on that fatal launch.

  6. More like they died because NASA violated its own safety rules by ignoring numerous warnings from the solid rocket booster manufacturer regarding the O-Rings issue for years prior to the incident, and decided to launch despite Thiokol key engineers being strongly against it on the day of the launch. Episode 4 made me furious.

  7. That's episode 2 watched and they all died because of dodgy O rings on the boosters, I feel sad for Christa McAuliffe the first non-professional teacher astronaut to be chosen and she loses her life with the others, so sad.

  8. The right to ridicule the beliefs of others is an absolute foundation stone of any liberal country. Satirising Mohammad is not 'hate speech' or 'racism', people from all communities should accept this or we're in for big problems.

  9. Yes his comments are bizarre and totally unnecessary. It just fuels more hate and enables these cunts to carry on beheading and killing French citizens based on the acts of hundreds of years ago. It's akin to Trump saying there's 'fine people on both sides' when the riots at Charlottesville happened a few years ago. Fuels hate and gives the green light to people to cause terror. It's totally counter-productive.

  10. Horrific beheadings in France, again. This is going to come to a head soon (no pun intended), people are not going to tolerate people being slain in such gruesome fashion by Islamic fascists, the people protesting about that teacher drawing cartoons of Mohammed are part of the problem here.

  11. Our latest 2 Austrians have not been doing very well at all and Christian has probably been one of best players from the South. It has been both annoying and great to see that he has proved the idiots upstairs at Gelsenkirchen so wrong as to how he has played in Walker Land and is only symptomatic of the long list of super guys we have practically given away over the past few years. I can get nothing but a 'wry' smile from the Anfield area when the latest 'news' is being considered, but we may be about to do it again. If you want to see why he is such a great guy just visit the little town half-way between Graz and Vienna - the folk there are great and CF is one of their local legends by now. Yes - our loss etc....

  12. Its always puzzled me why more modern story-driven games dont translate very well to TV. Theres a whole trove of stuff thats been built and written to turn to a show or a movie and yet directors get pulled onto projects who eventually fuck things up. The Witcher has shown the way so hopefully the RE take they are taking deserts the rubbish we have been subjected to over there and does some good as well.

  14. London and the South East are the priority, that's very clear. As soon as London went into Tier 2, guess what there is financial help available for them? Not when Liverpool and Manchester were there though. It's a joke and shows how much we need a federal England. There is no way on earth London would be in a lockdown by itself, this is why we're seeing this farce of every other city being put in tier 3. It's all to protect London. London was the hotspot at the start of this, would never ever haven been locked down. When will the North realise that the south is laughing at them.

  16. Your last paragraph sums up how I feel. This is all about making ourselves feel like we can control something uncontrollable. It’s telling that it is us in the West who having the hardest time with this. We are used to having everything under control, this is something we are not used to. A reminder that the world is not subject to us and that there are dangers out there.

  17. As I have said earlier, all this virus does is revert countries to their basic essence. Holland has reverted to finding compromises for everything (polder model) The US has reverted to its usual dose of crazy paired with societal division France has reverted to its leader getting to roleplay as a firm Napoleonic statesman over the backs of his countrymen Italy and Spain have reverted to criticizing us for 'mishandling' the crisis and then asking us for free hand-outs as the bodies pile up and their entire economies inevitably collapse at the slightest setback It's depressing.
