That high school bombing in Kabul is pretty fucking horrific. Religious fundamentalists are absolute scum, and the Taliban are up there with the worst of them. They target kids, especially young girls, to control the population with fear... truly disgusting people.

CIA should release a series of educational videos of all of the times they've undermined democracy around the world and ended up making the planet a bit less stable and a bit more unsafe next.

I only really clocked this when I was listening to a podcast the other day. I pay a lot more attention to these things than your average person and I hadn't read about or considered it, makes me think that the links with the SARS vaccines is somewhat under reported and we could do with highlighting that to people who are sceptical. I do understand the scepticism and nobody can guarantee that there isn't any risk, but nor can they when you jump on a plane or hit the brakes on your road car. I trust science though and that's the bottom line for me.

I appreciate the need to be wary. Got nothing against anyone for that. But given the vaccine has been trialled heavily for several months and it's now being given to pregnant women, and there's been no reports of deformities or abnormalities since that, I'm willing to take my chances. For all I know, without taking the vaccine, I could contract the virus and not even be here in a year's time. That's realistic too.

Israel just fired rockets in Gaza, civilian causalities. They are planning a full ground operation if they get the green signal. This all is definitely planned to take away the attention from the political mess Nethanyahu is in.

Quite a few people I know are not getting it for the same reason and they aren't the conspiracy theory type or anti vaxs there is some genuine hesitant.

I'm going for mine on Wednesday. What's funny, is I'm having it done in a health innovations centre on the uni campus which I was working on in all of 2019, until the beginning of Feb in 2020. I just got invited now and had the choice of going anytime between 9:00-20:00 on any day starting from tomorrow until the end of next week. I'm weary as fuck about it though as it's such a new substance. Nobody actually knows what it could do to you in the long term, let's be honest. We are practically guinea pigs but since you'll need it for a "vaccine passport" that's the only reason why I'm taking my chances. Otherwise I'd rather wait a few years personally.

It just doesn't sound appealing at all to go somewhere(Andalucía) and wear a mask outside in 40 degree heat..I'd have a red and white face and literally be wearing Man United colours. I'd look like @DeadLinesman when he's got his face paint on for the City derby. That is other than the beach I think, but surely the beach would leave you at more at risk of contracting the virus, since it'll be packed? Wearing them in shops, public transport, etc is fine as people have to work in them, it's only fair, but outside while walking seems extreme. I'll have to look into a few places. Maybe the Canaries? As it's all regional rules as you said.

Why quote that part but not the part after it? The part you quoted makes no sense on its own as that wasn't the point. If boarders are open then people should have a choice whether they wear a daft mask or not. In shops it's fair enough, but not while walking on a street,in a park or anywhere else outside. If it's that extreme then it's pointless having boarders open for tourists full stop as walking around with masks on in 38 degree heat where your head goes brown and face pale white is hardly the idea of fun is it? They just want your money, forget your experience. I'd assume all responsibility. Same with anyone else. You can't force people to wear a mask outside. Either way if people aren't toddlers and the state aren't their nanny, then why are they telling people to wear masks as if we are toddlers and they are our nanny?
