Dug these out from my book collection for the next read, again, after finishing my 'Pop Goes The Weasel, saw the series 'Band of Brothers' and these 3 books are top draw and D-Day was the best out of the 3 portrayed in the series. @ASF & @Viva la FCB mentioned the series here in the Famous or Highly-Rated Series You've Not Watched? thread and you guys if you have not read them then you are missing a great read.

They were quite popular in the 70'*s and at the begin of the 80's. Almost vanished from market in the end of the 80's, when the only Groschenromane that were still around were some Arztromane. Remember the first Lassiter I bought was 2 Groschen.2 points

I bought them regularly in the late 90s - early 2000s. Bastei Verlag still sells 22 million copies each year... Moewig Verlag still publishes Perry Rhodan every week. I picked up a new issue of Maddrax in the magazine kiosk at Frankfurt Airport just three months ago But yeah, I think it's a bit of a niche these days...0 points
