It looks much better now. It's good to see, as in most of those "then & now" photos it's a complete opposite transformation.

My city looks very different to what it was 31 years ago. I remember when they started building the big tunnel when I was a kid, to move the traffic away from the riverside. It looks much nicer now!

It probably helps that they lost their sense of taste. Kidding, kidding.

Here's one I remember when working for a bank, a girl annoyed as a chap had stood her up at lunch time bought him a pint of guinness. She hid it in her coat walked back up the High Street past security into the lift and put on his desk. Think he was a bit shocked when he saw it. They never became an item although everyone expected they would.
