  2. New season. New colour scheme. New entry matches my total number of wins in one week as I've managed in now 45 attempts. @RandoEFC takes the early lead. Goes in heavy on two expected winners in European leagues and both deliver pretty comprehensively. Pretty sound strategy. The newcomer is @Smiley Culture, somebody I remember playing this years ago. One bet, one win. Can't be sniffed at even if I make that the smallest win in the games history. Green on the board. @CaaC (John) and me with blanked doubles on the EFL opening day. Same old rubbish from me, I can tolerate the Bristol City one as that was a bit of a long shot but ones like Rotherham piss me off. No excuses for that. @Stan takes me off the bottom on alphabetical order as he's very unluckily let down by expected runaway winners Birmingham after landing a very decent pick with his other. Mediocre start. Could've been better.

  3. I think it's kind of hard to not mention race given the pretty racist rioting that came after another stabbing, tbh.

  6. Week 1 Results Leeds 3-3 Portsmouth Oxford 2-0 Norwich Man City (p)1-1 Man Utd Rangers 2-1 Motherwell Dundee 3-1 Hearts Genk 3-2 Club Brugge Hibernian 0-2 Celtic Ajax 1-0 Heerenveen Sheff Weds 4-0 Plymouth Sampdoria (p)1-1 Como Round-up We have a trio of front-runners to kick things off - @RandoEFC, @Tommy and @Azeem all performing well from the off with 13 points each. A selection of four players only 1 point off - @Viva la FCB, @nawoo, @Pyfish & @6666 all doing well to get 12 points. All of the above attained at least 1 perfect score; @Coma was the only one not in that group to also get a perfect score. The bottom 5, including myself, all scored below average but plenty of time to improve!
