  1. Only if the fat guy has been told by everyone in his life that he absolutely ripped his entire life, sure. Gender dysmoprhia is caused by external social input, not internal.

  3. Nuclear power remains the greenest and cheapest form of sustainable energy, but due to regulations it is being squandered. Nuclear waste is reusable by every reactor, it is just ionized water and water is the catalyst to fission. people think nuclear waste is this glowing green jelly put into a barrel that is fictionalized in pop culture but it really is just concete and lead water reservoirs that contains water that cannot be repurposed for human usage but can still be reused in nuclear reactor loops. the reason it is not reused is due to regulations from government predominantly america as anything that can provide power for 250 years is not profitable, further uranium and plutonium are rare and they rather thry be used in lucrative military application as either weapons or armor, depleted uranium stockpiles are used in making armored vehicle protection while sapping out 200 years of energy. there needs to be a UN accord to ban the depletion process as Uranium is extremely rare and will run out. there is a lot of scare mongering to detract people from the best form of sustainable energy which is pretty green as steam emissions have no heavy metals like coal power plants, in terms of radioactivity, that needs water so steam emissions have a low chance of being toxic ergo why waste is not dumped into rivers or the ocean. radioactive particles dissipate in air. ionized vapours have very low alpha radiation which dissipates, you are more likely to get cancer from the sun (gamma) than nuclear emission (alpha) as alpha radiation cannot pass the skin. everyone is going to assume Chernobyl is a rule rather than the exception even though there were factors in that tragedy that could have been averted by a simple phone call

  4. Got to be completely honest, I really like our community and value it, but I'm kinda caught a bit in no man's land really. Losing the forum was carnage. Didn't like it. Discord looked mental. Fuck, what's all these notifications? Where do I find this? Was like a Rabbit caught in the headlights. Made the adjustment to Discord. Hang on, this isn't so bad. Liked it. The forum came back and the football side of it got filtered back here (which was always my primary reason anyway for posting) and I naturally followed like a moth to the light. I felt the Football discussions on Discord had suffered as a result so was happy they came back onto the forum. But in turn, it's probably took me away from the Discord side of things like the general chat threads, films etc. I know it takes no real effort to sign in but I've just lost the will to juggle between the two. I prefer everything to be in one place and I've found my posting on the forum and general logging in has gone down as a result of inactivity in other areas of the forum that are obviously more popular on Discord. Totally don't blame anyone for using whatever they prefer, but we're not centralised anymore and its had a negative impact in my eyes. I guess we have a few others in the same boat and then a relatively equal split of those who prefer the forum and those who prefer Discord, followed by those that are content to keep up with both. Perhaps over time it'll all fix itself out but the community feels spread out at this moment and it doesn't feel the same for sure, just being honest. P.S The absolute faff now to post a photo or picture, which has often stopped me posting at all. Perhaps an unavoidable move for the benefit of forum performance but a massively off putting one for me personally.

  5. Nudge is correct, John's post has very little to do with the subject matter of this thread, which is actually about neo-nazis and holocaust deniers.
