Dr. Gonzo Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 The first 2 goals in the Spurs-Wolves match were absolutely brilliant 5 minutes ago, Storts said: Should we were terrible today I think it can go either way. Chelsea were abysmal at Bournemouth. Chelsea are also absolutely shite at set pieces - attacking and defending. Theres goals in that young Chelsea side. But, I also think with the transfer ban ended, the players and manager are now under a bit more pressure that I feel like is palpable as an outsider to that club. That mix of pressure and inexperience creates a volatile squad, there on their day Chelsea can be great... but they can also be not great. Meanwhile Spurs haven’t looked too great, but they’re finally getting results with Jose in - to me it looks like the season is turning around. With Kane, Son, Lucas M... Spurs always have goals in them as well. And there’s players who know they’re fighting to play for Spurs come the end of the season and want to show Jose they’re worth being regulars. Both sides have serious strengths and weaknesses, but with the potential to score. And score good goals. Should be a good one, looking forward to it.
LFCMadLad Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 I think Spurs piss it to be honest. Better defence (on paper) and certainly a better attack. Just my opinion of course.
True Blue Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 On a five defeat run? One win in 10? Can't win for shit? Visit the Bridge and get your points today! That was a shocking performance even for the "kids" level. We created roughly two good chances? In the second constantly on the back foot and Bournemouth exposed our weakness with their fast counter attacks. Well earned win by the Cherries as well. To be fair one of the rare games i can't point out one player that was good. We have lost four out of the last five. Bournemouth, West Ham, Everton all struggling and we should have gotten a result in all of those games. In the start we looked excellent going forward creating loads of chances, but the defense was always shaky. In the recent few games it seems we now stopped playing well in the attack as well. Obviously Lampard said he is aware of the current form and the lack of chances we create, hopefully he will address to it. It won't get much easier as we have Spurs and Arsenal away in our next three. A response is needed and it is needed now, preferably on Sunday against Spurs. We had a point gap between 4th and 5th now two more bad results and we can drop out of it. The positive is that it can only become better not worse.
Teso dos Bichos Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 "Abraham is facing a similar issue as Hazard; he is almost too trusted to do something amazing. " Chelsea's problem is simple, they are putting too much trust on someone who has yet to score against a top team. If their answer is Tammy Abraham, they are fucked bench him and let him watch videos of Mason G. and Rashford and maybe he will learn something

Not beyond the realms of possibility but those spots are so highly saturated now. Doing a Burnley or a Wolves is so much harder when you lot, for example are 'rightly' in the top 3. You can only have so many 'shake ups' for those places in a season. We're 10 points ahead of Villa and even they are actually outside the relegation zone, so that's all that matters.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted December 16, 2019 Subscriber Posted December 16, 2019 It reeks of a Tottenham win but the way this season's gone, Chelsea will probably go and do it.
