Listening to the radio after the game Leicester fans crying the bitch over the decision to award a foul on 16 by Barnes. You won a fucking FA Cup on a bent off side against us so they owe us at least another nine 50/50 calls till u should get one.

I think we won it because Tielemans scored a worldie and you didn't score more than us.

Think we are lagging in getting in players due to the govt sanctions and Boehly handover meaning we missed targets or were too slow to act. We also had to let players go.

Good thing is we are staying in contention as players like Kovacic come back into fitness and will maybe finalise a couple of last minute transfers.

You're one of the biggest spenders this summer... yet again.

Lagging my arse xD

Well two of our first choice centre backs left so instead of strengthening other key areas that needed work had to find alternatives there. Also our left back had a serious injury and so we needed to get a replacement.

Since Azpilicueta and Hazard I struggle to recall other bargains we have acquired and normally have to pay over the top.

You are hardly lagging in the transfer market though.

Chelsea pretty much outspend most clubs in the world year in, year out. This summer is no exception.

Also the year of the transfer ban when Frank was in charge.

I guess having the ground in the most expensive part of the country for real estate means we have to pay a bit more.

A lot of us bemoan the lack of decent scouting and it will be interesting to see if this changes under the new ownership or just continues as is.

Under RA he wanted possession based football so we got a number of specialist managers requiring specialist players and with FFP you can only change so many in a window while retaining quality.

Saying that TT seems to prefer 3 at the back.

I think most CFC fans supporting at least since Mourinho would prefer a 4-3-3.

Let me add we have been fortunate to have had a rich owner following on from cup success in the 90's though not plain sailing with players like Shevchenko. Torres and Morata all for different reasons not producing when expected to.

Not been funny mate but Chelsea's shit recruitment policy doesn't deflect from the fact that they outspend almost everyone.. every single summer.

FFP is a joke as far as Chelsea is concerned.

I actually think in the last 5 seasons barring the Boehly consortium taking over now we have tried to stay within the parameters.

Parameters which are very heavily weighted towards the big six.

It would have been interesting last season had we got Haaland for £150m approx how we would have squared that with FFP.

The big six do seem to do well though they also have other revenue streams at least in theory to back their expenditure.

I also think Leicester have under performed they could not build on that initial league success barring 1 FA Cup, is it down to revenue or poor choice of managers?

It's a relief that we have kept the old spend, spend, spend policy under the new regime... Thought for a while when Abramovich went that we would become one of the pauper clubs but thankfully we seem to be throwing money around with wild abandon just like we used to... B|

A CL quarter-final and two campaigns in Europe not count? We've literally never qualified for Europe through the league before and we did it 3 times in 4 years.

Underperformed against what? Look at what we've had to compete against. Its impossible to keep up.

Leicester are part of the top five furniture of the Premier League. Strange to for anyone to say they've under performed.

No problem with Sterling and Cucurella yet how long will Silva and Koulibally last. Just our luck for them both to break down this season like our full backs did last season and midfield troubles the previous two.

As I have an ESP skill think there is a more to the game than just throwing money at players not sure if the Boehly chap gets it. Perhaps better than early Roman looking for his new shiny toys yet how much better. Will be interesting to see if we can increase revenues substantially, I have doubts yet lets give him a chance.

If he can't it will be interesting to see how the consortium's attitude changes.

Chelsea's business hasn't wowed other than playing 60m for a wing back only to try him at center half just seems odd.

Connor Gallagher must love riding the pine, mist feel so good having mount and Loftus Cheek start ahead of you when you are better.

For me Gallagher needs to play in a 3 man midfield we play 2 men.

We could go three yet them would require just two attacking forwards not sure why he has not tried this.

I would agree with the Gallagher in a three man midfield which is why we have been linked with him so often.  I would like him but with Chelsea throwing wet toilet paper at the wall to see what sticks,  he is unlikely to move even though he is wanting to move.

I am not convinced Tuchel is right for Chelsea.

They've had a plethora of top coaches there yet they still finish high up the table but I think they'll be ok with Tuchel. But they'll have to drop down the table before they start climbing it again...........which I think they will.

Of course you fail to mention what this is about and caused you to "think" n throw your toys out of your pram. Even your clubs number one cheerleader admitted straight after that game your club got away with one.

When your adult enough to admit that, then maybe you will be worthy of reading. Till then, Carry on Thinking ;)

VAR made a decision. You're unhappy with it. You lost the game.

When you're adult enough to admit that, then maybe you will be worthy of entertaining a conversation about it. Until then, carry on reminiscing about what could have happened ;) :ay:

Jealous of what? Having a far better recruitment process than Chelsea?

Oh yeah, I'm gutted xD

Well me ol Hector, you are always in here crying the bitch over something Chelsea are alleged to have done. I would have thought your own club has given you enough to rub your cock about of late after 30 years without. Yet, here you are again in our thread with this windows bitch about FFP.  Where my Harry Enfield GIF?  Loads N Loads of MONEY. :)

I think the rumours are 100% true. As much as the manager states we are a club in transition, I believe he has lost many players minds who, as he states, are looking too much at their phones hoping their Agent can get them away from the club (It's actually him). This morning the word is 10 & 22 gave word to the club at the start of this window they no longer wish to be around as they want regular first team football. Read between the lines on that gives you the truth.

I didn't like his line up last night. His substitutions were all wrong (as usual) and why we have decided against a 5 is beyond me.

Still, all questions will be answered through the season. Aren't we all looking forward to those.
