And just like that Spurs have a penalty. Think VAR got it right.

Lamptey equaliser. Having a really good season so far, following on from last season...

Pretty sure defenders get penalised for this. Take a quick look at the player jumping and barge in to them while they're in the air.

Ha that first one “clever” just like I said.

I also like when Gary Linekar basically said what I just said. Aside from being one of the best English players ever, I think he’s a quality pundit.

You do know I wasn't disagreeing with you in our conversation earlier, right?!

Bale with his first Spurs goal since returning. 2-1!

Yeah I know, not saying you did either xD - I think we’re on the same page, we just read different paragraphs on the same page... but we’re on the same page

Nicely worked move for that Bale goal.

I can’t help but want Bale to do well at Tottenham. He’s a fun player to watch when he’s in full swing

Bale has been poor for Spurs. Is his first goal for them in nearly 7 years.

Brighton have a habit of playing well and losing, need to be careful.

It’s like they’ve got the mentality/spirit for the league, but not enough quality over the pitch

Interesting that he chooses now to start considering this kind of nuance. No idea why that would be

Lallana's made of absolute spaghetti as well. Surprised he hasn't got injured there

That ref was an absolute disgrace. Just one of those arrogant creatures that has too much ego to overturn his own awful call.

Glad we won though - tricky 6 games coming up so needed it. Delighted for Bale too

That VAR decision for Tariq Lamptey’s goal is exactly why it isn't working. Despite the technology, you’re relying on someone that's incompetent to overcome their ego for it to work.

It can’t be a surprise to anyone that Kane is diving, it’s a key component to his game. Whether you like diving or not it’s one of the reasons why Kane is a world class striker, similar to Luis Suarez

Clearly though he benefits from being English Harry whereas others will be seen as dirty foreign ruiners of the great English game

With that said Kane doesn’t do anything wrong against Lallana, just stands his ground and gets hit even if he’s anticipating it will happen

Kane’s obviously world class and nothing I say takes away from that.

But him with Mourinho and I expect him to reach Didier Drogba (imo the most blatant diver in England in my life) levels of diving this season. It’s just something Mourinho imparts on his sides, especially on big physical forwards.
