Unless somehow miraculously we get back into this, it will be 8 defeats and 2 draws in the last 10 games. 5 straight defeats.

The display so far is the definition of getting desperate when cluelessness is the problem.

There's a rot here that is scaring the shit out of me. Ashley has a history of letting rots set in too long to be fixed in time to stay up.

Apparently were trying to get him in summer. Only fitting he'd net one against us.

Tbf a 2-0 loss rather flatters us.

Villa went for him because Wilson chose us. We were put off by Watkins price at the time before we signed Wilson, Brentford eventually sold for less.

Watkins got lucky, no one gets better under Bruce. I'm genuinely struggling to name a single player. They've all either gone backwards quite a bit or at best 1 or 2 held steady, such as Hayden, but no one is better.

Look at Schar for example, we were knocking back £20-25m bids for him, Bruce comes in and the lad now looks £5m tops.

At the end of the day Ashley has always reacted when the national media and pundits start putting pressure on. The club hierarchy don't respect or rate supporter opinions. Newcastle fans are viewed like a caricature to a lot in the game. There's people who get paid to express opinions that wouldn't survive if there was any ability to challenge it there and then.

Until Fulham or West Brom close the gap then the thicko's in the media will insist Bruce is doing a fantastic job and no one else could do any better as Redknapp says.

We might stay up comfortably if the bottom 3 remain poor and we can pick up a win here and there, but that wouldn't be good enough. It will to the insufferable league table pundits who view the fans as a caricature and want to keep a club like Newcastle in a box they define.

To be fair the tide does seem to be turning in TV coverage - which is a good first start. Although it would be hard to start saying he needs more time after 10 straight games without a win.... xD

Surely he has to win one of Leeds or Everton.

If we win either we'll buy ourselves another 3 to 4 games before being in the thick of it.

If we don't win either and still aren't touching distance from bottom 3 then Fulham are probably going down. Fulham have Brighton and West Brom next two games. They could come out of that with anything really.
