Lucas
But seriously, it was awful. That said, we feared it. Anybody that knows how we work as a team will notice there is nothing happening in midfield. Phillips usually drops short to receive the passes from Meslier and he's not there. His replacement Struijk doesn't know where to be. There's times he needs to push up and he thinks he's centre back so the lads in front are getting isolated. We have nothing going out wide which is a strength of ours. Losing Ayling from RB to CB means no overlapping runs or combinations with Raphinha on the right hand side, so we're struggling to get him in the game. The 2nd penalty was an absolute giveaway and the 3rd happens because we're all over the shop after the 2nd. People will look and see it's 3-0 and just be, thats Leeds. But its not that simple. We're really hindered at the moment with personal we can choose from and have 5 players playing out of position, doing jobs for the team. That tells you all you need to know. Devil
Don't get this Leeds side myself, yeah they are entertaining but you could never win anything being so open. Sometimes you've got to change your style to suit a game or situation. They are a bit like a headless chicken, you laugh and enjoy then but eventually you just know they will inevitably hit the wall. Administrator Stan Posted February 14, 2021 Author Administrator Share Posted February 14, 2021 Helder Costa has to deal with that better, at least protect the ball better or give it off to someone when facing your own goal.

Subscriber Dan+ Posted February 14, 2021 Subscriber Share Posted February 14, 2021 It's no real surprise but Leeds are the most hit and miss side in the league by a mile. Embarrassing for most of this.

Rick
That’s a penalty. Cedric has made zero attempt to play the ball, knows exactly what he is doing.

I did think that but as @Storts said, they were never giving it after Cooper did similar. Absolute abomination of a first half and start of the 2nd, but there are ways to react at 4-0 down and at least we reacted the right way. Kept Arsenal honest to the final seconds. But they deserved it. Not really much cop today if I'm honest from us. Too many square pegs in round holes. Doing the best we can with what he have though and that's what makes what we've done all before today worth applauding.
6666
Nice to see Aubameyang finally have a good game this season and nice to get back to winning. Hopefully we can actually get a good run going. Just Benfica, Man City, Benfica again, and then Leicester coming up.
