Devil
Simple really, this isn't about the best XI of all time it's your personal XI of all time, players you watched throughout your life and they entertained you so much you loved watching them play. Catch must have seen them play live, either in the flesh or TV. No old footage just live matches.
Mpache
Did this on Twitter a while ago. Only one I haven't seen of these is Chumpitaz, but I had to include him for external reasons. In subs I would have Tim Cahill.

Mpache
Add Pirlo to my subs as well. I was torn between Hamsik or Pirlo but I experienced Hamsik at his fullest potential, so it had to be him, even if he's slightly out of position.

Devil
So many I missed off who you would say are better players but I loved some of these players as a kid. I'd spend my days practicing the chip Suker scored on Schmeichel over and over, just an amazing goal. Romario made scoring a goal look like putting a ball on a golf hole from 1 inch. If you want someone I've seen though I'll go with one of Puyol, Alberto Rodriguez or Pepe. Can't really decide.

Suker is not a common one but an interesting choice. The star for Croatia way before all these new players we all recognize. The original golden generation. Can't say I know much more than just stories though. I was too young and didn't get to see the old games involving Croatia.

Had an amazing ability to score goals with the outside of his foot and always turned up in the big games for his country. Had a weird stint at Arsenal when he was all but finished but a world cup golden boot and a career of many goals he was certainly a top top striker. For me personally easily the best all round player that has ever lived. But that's my personal opinion, he was big strong yet he seem to glide around the pitch and control the ball like a bull fighter drawing in a bull. Dr. Gonzo
My own personal favourite XI? I’ll try to exclude current LFC players just to make it more internet to maybe. GK: Pepe Reina LB: Paolo Maldini CB: Sami Hyypia CB: Franco Baresi RB: Markus Babbel CM: Javier Mascherano CM: Xabi Alonso CM: Steven fucking Gerrard Wide Forwards that sort of just have a free role to destroy the other sides: Ronaldinho & Thierry Henry In the Center of my Front 3: Robbie Fowler It’s a sexy side
Whiskey
Players that I have physically seen live, I've not included any Everton players to remove bias. Some players not might be in their natural positions but went for a 4-4-2 which explains why they are where they are. The game that I saw them is after the name, except if I've just seen them against Everton as part of my years having a ST. I've seen the England NT too, but to be honest nobody from that squad would get near the names below ! GK: Petr Cech (Chelsea) RB: Gary Neville (Manchester United vs. Derby County) CB: John Terry (Chelsea) CB: Nemanja Vidic (Manchester United) LB: Jordi Alba (Barcelona vs. Bilbao/Betis) RM: Eden Hazard (Chelsea) CM: Frank Lampard (Chelsea) CM: Roy Keane (Manchester United vs. Derby County) LM: Robert Pires (Arsenal) RW: Messi (Barcelona vs. Bilbao/Betis) LW: Neymar (Barcelona vs. Athletic Bilbao) ST: C. Ronaldo (Manchester United)
