PERMUTATIONS

CHAMPIONSHIP

  • Norwich can be crowned Champions if they can better Watford's result
  • Watford can secure promotion if Bournemouth don't win in the early-kick-off
  • Barnsley can secure play-offs if they win or draw and Reading lose on Sunday.

  • Wycombe will be relegated if they draw and Derby win, or lose and Derby draw/win.
  • Sheff Weds will also be relegated if they lose and Derby win.

LEAGUE ONE

  • Hull can secure automatic promotion if they beat Lincoln and Sunderland don't win

  • Bristol Rovers will be relegated before anyone else plays, if they don't beat Portsmouth.
  • Swindon will also be relegated if they don't win, or if they do win and AFC Wimbledon & Wigan also win

LEAGUE TWO

  • Cambridge can confirm promotion if they win, and Morecambe draw/lose

  • Grimsby will be relegated if they draw and Scunthorpe & Colchester draw, or Barrow win. Or if they lose and Barrow draw.
  • Southend will be relegated if they don't win.

I hate this. I really hate this. When we've been in this situation before, I've had hope but the way this season has gone, I'd rather we just get relegated and end the misery sooner :(

They're in the play offs now, bar the mother of all swings.

A shame they beat Rotherham though.

Yes I was hoping Rotherham would win to put even more pressure on Derby.

Rooney and his Derby side could be fortunate that there's 3 shitter sides than them. Shame.

Grimsby! They win again. They can't survive from here, surely?!

3 games left. 6 points from safety.

Remaining games:

Exeter away - 9th place, can still get play-offs
Port Vale home - 12th place, nothing to play for
Cambridge away - 2nd place, title contenders

That's gonna be tough!

Southend play Barrow next!

Rotherham's remaining games are Brentford, Blackburn, Luton and us.

I could see them potentially beating Luton and us, but it could be too little too late at that point.

Big win today, just a bit late really. All about the play-offs so going into them in good form is good, and we’ve set out a marker against Bournemouth too. But knowing our luck they’ll smack us about in the play-offs

If there were another 10 games they would go down. Luckily there aren't.

I stand by everything I said about him previously but even so, this is abject and you would forgive them for thinking it's not the answer.

Play-offs are sorted then.

1 point separating 3rd to 6th, but they can neither get top 2 or be caught by anyone below. Can't remember the last time that happened after Game 44. Whether a club was going for automatics or to be chased by a team in 7/8/9th...

Phenomenal effort from Barnsley though to get that secured. They were 12th in mid-January. Only lost twice since then.

Swansea with nothing to play for against Derby, annoying.

Derby are going to completely scab survival through pure luck of how bad the others are and Wednesday's points deduction. They're about due a League One stint as well.

7 points from 3 games. We COULD do it... but I don't think we will! That Southend and Barrow game will be a killer for us.
