Cosmetic Surgery

Just seen this picture of Katie Price and it made me think what levels people go to try and keep themselves looking young. (She looks terrible)

What form of cosmetic surgery would you willingly have or is it a major no no for men?

None.

It can be a real turn-off seeing women plastered in plastic or full of Botox. Ugh.

I don't know, I think it can help some women massively myself. Done correct it's good but the current trend to pump up lips and cheeks looks pathetic.

Not sure about myself, if someone offered me a procedure I can't 100% say I'd rule it out but I can defo say facelifts and stuff like that would be a major no, just think they end up looking a joke.

Yeah - I used to be pretty much against all alterations, but my wife recently got a boob job (reduction and lift), and I understand it makes her feel better and more confident, so it's fine with me. We also didn't skimp out on price so we made sure they were done right.

I don't mind some, but you can tell when it becomes too much. This current season of the Bachelorette has a couple of past ladies on there (one of which is my #1 celebrity crush, hands down), but the other is a woman I should have recognized, but didn't because of all the work that she's had done...and it looks awful.

Ask Ronaldo.

Don't know, healthy lifestyle, never stops training.

I think Ronaldo loves himself and looks after his appearance but I don't think he has cosmetic surgery. I'd say he will eventually have cosmetic surgery but not yet.

And if he does, it's not noticeable. The guy is an elite athlete and very good looking, so I'm still not sure why he gets so much hate. Has literally played for the 3 biggest clubs in 3 different countries and I think he's adored at each, leaving on good terms and not burning bridges.

My mates ex missus cheated on him with Ronaldo during his first year with United, she met him in a restaurant in Manchester. He had to send over one of his friends to speak with her because he didn't even speak English at the time.

Still to this day me and missus laugh that this young girl from Altrincham (Women now) had a fling with a United player that couldn't speak English who went on to become the most famous man on the planet.

That's some notch on the bed post. :4_joy:

He only found out the day the story appeared in the Sun newspaper, she was a wannabe glamour model mate. To be fair she was visually good on the eye and you could see why someone of that level would go for her to be fair but she was still a dirty skank because he only slept with her once and she went straight to the press.

As for my mate, I didn't really see much of him at the time but the next time I seen him in the pub he seemed to think it was funny.

He’s 100% had a face lift and it’s incredibly noticeable.

I just don't know why any gives a shit if he has. He's got the money and it's not like he's going overboard with it so there doesn't appear to be a need for anyone to step in and intervene.

Well it’s kind of the point of the thread. No ones hating on him for wanting to look younger.

I would argue that your first post in this thread about, 'asking Ronaldo' seeps with a condescending undertone. Otherwise, why say it at all? :what:

As long as it doesn't become an obsession and doesn't manifest as a symptom of mental illness, I don't see anything wrong with it. If it genuinely helps people feel better about themselves and makes them more self-confident, then why not?

The botched ones look really terrible though.

Yeah - I always think of the kid that tried to be a Ken doll.

That was my first thought, too.

By the way, the kid that tried to be a Ken doll is now called Jessica, and wants to have a baby.

Mental.

That is mental. Poor...woman(?) obviously has some trauma going on. Imagine never feeling comfortable in your own skin and thus perform such drastic changes. Sad really.

Why does it bother you? xD

I’ve stated quite frequently that I find Ronaldo to be a very insecure person. Not hating him for it, it’s something I’ve simply accepted him to be.

Doesn't bother me personally, just don't understand why it matters as long as he is happy? Like others have said, if it's not drastic or due to some mental issues, then live and let live.

I'm sure there are a lot of footballers who have had work done.

If I had his money and his image to maintain I probably would to.

Not a big fan of it myself... Just think it looks terrible after a while when people keep having work done and don't know when to stop.. Fair enough if it helps with something like a boob reduction or an improvement to make that person feel better about themselves then yea but some of them like that Ken Doll and plastic Price could just get put straight in Madame Tussauds after they die and no-one would notice the difference..

I don't have an issue with shit like botox injections, which my wife has done (even though I begged her not to), at least that shite isn't extremely drastic.

I do think a lot of cosmetic surgery ends up looking horrible and on most people who get work done, you can tell because their face starts to take on the characteristics of everyone else who's ever had the same work done. And then there's those fucking weirdos who've decided to go crazy and destroy their faces.

I'm sure it's mental illness or something... but I think the people that do that always end up looking like absolute freakshows. I feel a bit bad for them, I do think a lot of the "doctors" that push this shit should maybe have more restrictions on them because sometimes what they do to peoples' faces is absolutely horrific.

But they're only doing what they're asked, I suppose.

I'd never get any cosmetic surgery done unless my face had melted off or something. I'll age with dignity, even if that means mother nature is going to make me look ugly as fuck. Better to be naturally ugly than unnaturally horrific.

Full on mental illness though, he now she originally wanted to look like a Ken doll.
