It looks very basic, in a good way. It's a shame that liveries are generally very predictable from one year to the next though. Teams like Haas have their visible identity largely defined by their title sponsors. Brand recognition has become too important for them to vary liveries too much from year to year.

Last year with Alpine and Aston Martin unveiling entire new brands and liveries with them was a special treat.

It's Red Bull day tomorrow. Be prepared for another case of the same livery being imposed onto what is very similar to the F1 concept model. Red Bull aren't a team that change their livery very much, and they certainly won't be putting any of their innovations on the reveal car! The same can probably be said for the rest of the teams. I look forward to the F1 journalists trying to draw conclusions from the car's appearance though!

And then it's Aston Martin the day after. We should more or less know what it's likely to look like but there is a slightly larger chance we'll see a revised livery in some way.

I don't even bother with car launches anymore as 90% of the time it's just renders of the same or slightly different livery put on a generic showcar. I understand that teams don't want to show any details before the pre-season testing, but it really makes the whole launch thing completely pointless.

At least there are some changes to the Red Bull livery with the Honda branding being removed. They haven't really changed the look of their car since they turned up in 2006 though.

Ferrari are a team that actually make subtle changes to their livery though. They dropped some new merchandise yesterday that has a bit of black on it. Not impossible that it could be echoed to some extent on the new car.

It is beautiful indeed. Looks like a shark with those cooling louvres.

The high front wing also stands out, especially the bottom plate which almost looks up. Looks very aggressive, nice.
