OrangeKhrush Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 I find Witcher 3 quite difficult, which is why I never got far into it. It is a nice game though. Quote
OrangeKhrush Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 If you have tried Fallout 4 but it has automatically updated to the next gen update and you want a roll back, use this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/81630 The next gen update breaks F4SE and Baka, until it is updated and you want to play version 163 it is the only way to roll back and disable the auto update. once they are updated then it will be fine to update to new gen which comes with some nice freebies but absolutely no performance gains on PC, seen guys with 7800XD and 14900KS's with 4090's barely getting 70FPS maxed. MUFC Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Wonder if the Mafia games will be remastered for PS5. Or will they just make a 4th? Quote

OrangeKhrush Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Flipping between Fallout 4 modded to New Vegas style and using the series mods to add Vault 33 gear, the tranquiliser gun and all the NV weapons instead of FO4. I have also finished Cyber Punk 2077 Quote
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted May 23, 2024 Subscriber Posted May 23, 2024 Think Team Ninja need to take a nice little hiatus and work on a Gaiden game after WoLong and RotR. Both those games aren't bad per-se but after playing something like NiOh2 and then coming to WoLong or RotR they both feel unpolished in terms of combat. What I'd like is a gaiden-style game with the mechanics of NiOh to afford some better enemies and definitely less open-world. It feels tiring having to just roam the land and I wish some development shops just put an end to it and went more boxed. Quote

Panflute Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 Already talked about it on the Discord, but I'm currently going through (most) Zelda 3D games. Started a playthrough of Ocarina of Time but since I already beat that a handful of times and know that game inside-out, I decided to pause it for something new and am now a fair bit into Skyward Sword (HD Switch version). I really struggled to get into the game as the first 2 dungeons didn't really do it for me, but it's starting to grow on me now. Some of the puzzles and dungeon gimmicks are amazing, and save for a few annoying enemies and actions, the button-based control scheme on the Switch actually works quite nicely. After these two, I have the following waiting for me: Wind Waker HD (completed the original before) Twilight Princess HD (completed the Gamecube original before) Breath of the Wild (never played before) Tears of the Kingdom (never played before) I'm still doubting whether to play Majora's Mask again. I finished it once on the N64, even getting all the masks, and while I loved it at the time, I have a feeling I am not going to like a playthrough of it. Quote
OrangeKhrush Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 I wanted to buy S.T.A.L.K.E.R but seeing how it barely runs with a GTX4090 it will not run on mine. So I will be getting Delta Force instead. Quote

Havent really tried the team up thing yet much as my friends dont really seem interested in organizing but tbf I havent played too much overall. What about you? what are your thoughts and what have you played so far? Quote

What about you? what are your thoughts and what have you played so far? It's actually quite fun and while limited in its gameplay I find it both tough and easy depending on the maps as I haven't gotten used to them all yet. I've not gone too much into Duelist or Vanguard mode and just hung out at the back of the line healing and moving things forward. The heroes I have tried so far are Luna Snow - Really hard to not play this character after Zenyatta and this is the one hero I am most comfortable with Scarlet Witch - Easiest of the duelists imo and does a tonne of damage if used right. Not Hella good but very useful in crowds Cloak and Dagger - I really like this character even if they it has serious issues in the swap Magneto - This is the character you'd sort of expect to match Rein the most, but he's got a lot of offense too The teamup thing is nice if you get locked into the hero of the day that is picked by everyone. Whether that's Iron Fist for Luna or Scarlet and Magneto which is good as well. Its an interesting concept if you know what you're doing but a lot of times you'll go into games and folks aren't organized which is what got me playing Zen in the first place and why I like Luna so much now. 1 Quote

I did actually touch on a bit of Luna the other day and I definitely see the appeal. She just kinda has the full package, decent enough dmg with great CC and that ult is a fight winner, I guess most are nearly in this game though Also tried a bit of Scarlet, she seems effective and little aim required but theres just something about chunking headshots thats just so satisfying for me though. On another note I just played a chunk into Act 3 of BG3. Im at something like 70-80 hours... this game is god damn massive. I already see the replayability of this game, I now understand the massive choice I made in Act 1 that cut out alot of content and didnt even follow along with that line choice in Act 2 as it turned out. I feel like I finally tunred a corner though near the end of Act 1 in figuring out how combat and some of the characters are best played. Its my first turn based style game let alone rpg that Ive played so it was a pretty steep learning curve for awhile. Anyways Im having a blast and cant recommend the game enough to anyone thats thought about it but not taken the plunge. I was holding out for a sale but ended up buying it on one of the cd key sites... purchased a steam account with the game essentially for like 35$ cad 1 Quote

I think I've sort of fallen on who I play depending on the team and I am also slowly learning that you really need to go into matches with a "complete" team vs just playing all DPS + 1 strategies or whatever combo you can imagine (i have seen an all offensive team too which I think is a sure shot way to lose in this game). I also think the best players I take into games now are Luna, S.Witch, Dr. Strange, Magneto, Punisher, Venom and I'm slowly learning Spiderman, but I really doubt I'll ever get good at this because it's just pure chaos playing this player haha. 1 Quote

Yeah 100%. Ive seen a few a things about apparently the devs being resistent or straight up denying that they will ever go to a role queue system. I think for its inception much like overwatch its fine for awhile and definitely fine for qp. I just played a couple hours of ranked last night for the first time and going through the games I can probably remember a handful of times where we had teamups and even just 2-2-2 comps. We still won plenty and lost to a solo tank at the end because skill disparity does count for something but I have a hard time imagining all things on equal planes that 2-2-2 isnt just better. Maybe they get there eventually but we'll see. Strange seems really, really strong imo. The shield mixed with his damage is just allot to deal with. I basically played all Hella yesterday and she still seems bonkers, Ill ride that shit till it ends. I havent found many times where its beneficial to not play her 1 Quote

It's those damn Spiderman or IronFist players who just get in and cause havoc that I can't stand. There is a way to solve the balance issue which is to "force" type selections but I hate that and figure if folks all want to be DPSes because they can play that way well together why not. 1 Quote
