Administrator Stan 17,837 Posted August 30 Administrator Share Posted August 30 Hate when players do this. Like they go on strike but still get paid full whack for doing fuck all. It's just a slap in the face for the club they're at.
Subscriber Coma+ 1,702 Posted August 30 Subscriber Share Posted August 30 Frankfurt have been very clear since the beginning of the transfer window that they wanted 100m before he could leave. If he's upset then he needs to focus his anger at PSG for not valuing him any higher than 80m. Personally, I don't think he's worth 80m, let alone 100m. But Frankfurt are within their rights to hold out for their valuation, especially now when the transfer window is about to close and they'd have no time to find a suitable replacement. The best I heard the other day was Amiri's representatives making additional demands to Leeds United and then getting annoyed that Leeds United wouldn't pay for the flight home.
OrangeKhrush 278
what an asshole, Frankfurt have no choice but to sell as they can't keep a player who has made up his mind he wants to leave. it reflects poorly on the squad.

El Profesor 1,453
Finally, after a decade, PSG's board realized that they should go after french talent first. They know the language, the culture, the league and how meaningful is PSG's is in Paris metropolitan region. Despite being a young club, PSG has a faithful, passionate fanbase and has been a factor in french football at least since the Canal Plus takeover in the 90s. There are so many talented french players. Signing most players from Italy's Serie A, like they did under Leonardo, never made sense imo. Rucksackfranzose 3,962
Well, Kolo Muani will stay in Frankfurt until the January window, since his replacement would have been to expensive. Actually quite delighted that strike wasn't successful. Edited September 1 by Rucksackfranzose

If Muani continues to play his best for Frankfurt, then keeping him is obviously great. But if he plays up or his performances clearly dip, then Frankfurt might feel that they should have accepted the 90 million euro transfer fee from PSG. Than make him understand that there will be no winter transfer, if he doesn't deliver. His contract doesn't expire until 2027, so it's Frankfurt not him having all the leverage.Because I woulodn't sell him if he doesn't behave- think he's intelligent enough to know his options will be very countable, if Frankfurt decide to bench him until his contract expires. Saarbrücken made good experiences with that kind of attitude towards players, who want to force a move.
