Another week, another strange list of injuries.

Nathan Collins out oft a couple weeks, fortunately Ben Mee is back so we can still have a strong defensive line. Both Shandon Baptiste and Keane Lewis-Potter are back too which is massive, especially KLP as we lack options on the wing atm.

Villa did win at Tottenham last season. Actually did the double over them, for what must have been the first time in many years. But, even with the Spurs absences, which seems a bit more than Villa's, this kind of is not feeling like a great time to be going there. They have lost last 2 & have Man City next. But, it's getting to that sort of time we start to know more of where teams & squads really are.

Should be entertaining. Any result possible. Goals almost guaranteed.

And this does seem a week that Sky genuinely have the pick of the fixtures. Monday the only box ticker.

For all the Everton-will-be-ok-this-is-actually-good-timing & they'll be up for it now, talk.. I'd back Bournemouth & Luton this weekend.. for at least a point.

Very heavily attacking lineup for city, I won’t pretend it isn’t intimidating viewing. Glad to see Jones back in the team, it’s arguably as strong as we could have went for today so no complaints from me.

Benches/subs could make a difference. Diaz and Gakpo could be important.

Man City's bench is weaker.

City players just stepping up to the big game, Liverpool not really turned up at all.

This midfield we have out is good enough to play against most sides in this league - but not Man City. It’s a midfield built to have the bulk of possession, not fight for it.

We’ve been pretty poor as a result other than a couple of decent moments from Nunez.

Yeah you’re definitely missing a prime Fabinho or a Rodri, but even in possession theres barely any movement from the midfield

I feel like Liverpool have actually had enough decent opportunities in terms of being in and around the box, or getting runners against Man City with 3v3s.

Just feels like they've been very indecisive. They're trying to make the absolute most of every attack, and hesitating, rather than just letting someone like Nunez or Szoboszlai just shoot.

Man City generally try and carve you open but they also have a go every so often to mix it up.
