MUFC Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Never saw it but heard it was a iffy penalty? If true it be annoying as we never used to get any penalties when Fergie was manager. Quote
Rick Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Huge results for Palace and West Ham. Saka and Timber are back in for them. Not looking forward to seeing Robertson against Saka. I still back us to get the result, but could have done with him out. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted October 27 Author Administrator Posted October 27 Superb from Saka. Not sure how Neville is trying to pin the blame on Van Dijk though. Quote

As shite as we've been, and also for Man Utd, I did not expect to only be one place behind them by the start of Nov Quote
Administrator Stan Posted October 27 Author Administrator Posted October 27 Great flick from Diaz to set up Van Dijk. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted October 27 Author Administrator Posted October 27 Yet to see Alexander-Arnold in the game. Quote
Rick Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Defence here is getting dragged all over the place. Our midfield really hasn’t shown up today thus far. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted October 27 Author Administrator Posted October 27 That's a quality delivery from Rice. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted October 27 Author Administrator Posted October 27 Been all Arsenal past 10-15 mins as well. Liverpool been struggling to get out. Quote
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted October 27 Subscriber Posted October 27 VAR has taken far too long a few times this weekend. Quote
Rick Posted October 27 Posted October 27 (edited) It’s just pathetic defending. Good ball in but fucking hell you shouldn’t be getting done that easy. Lazy defending from Van Dijk, who plays everybody on. Big changes needed second half, because I am a bit shocked by how shite we have been. Look way off the pace. Edited October 27 by Rick Quote

Moves break down in the final 3rd with Diaz and Salah not having their usual space to run into. Timber and Partey just man-marking them all game. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted October 27 Author Administrator Posted October 27 Another defensive injury for Arsenal to contend with. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted October 27 Author Administrator Posted October 27 What a great ball from Alexander-Arnold. Arsenal's back-up defence about to be really tested... Quote
Rick Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Will take that. Performance was ropey so a point is more than acceptable. Quote
Dave Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Delighted with our win. The goal was exactly why I was annoyed last season when Roy publicly criticised our inexperienced players when he gave the Tottenham defence the freedom of Croydon to pass it round from the back. They have a mistake in them if you press them well. Quote
6666 Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Didn't think we'd be able to get anything from the game so it's more than I expected before the game but it's always annoying to lose the lead twice in a game. Hopefully Gabriel's injury isn't too serious. We seem to be cursed this season. 6 of our next 7 games, in all competitions, are away as well. Quote
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted October 27 Subscriber Posted October 27 Why are Liverpool fans complaining on Twitter about Neville's commentary? How do they think the rest of us feel when we have to listen to Carragher commentate on them against our teams as if assumes everyone watching is a Liverpool fan... Quote
Subscriber Dan+ Posted October 27 Subscriber Posted October 27 Dreadful weekend for us. Ground lost in a weekend where we had probably one of the better fixtures relative to others. Lose to Ipswich next week and we're right back in the shit. Quote
