Guest Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 Does anyone watch dirty money on netflix? Just watched an episode about how corrupt HSBC are. They knowingly transported money from drug cartels Quote
MUFC Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Anyone seen this? A true story, suppose to be creepy and sad. Quote
nudge Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Been watching the new adaptation of Around the World in 80 Days (with David Tennant) in the last few days. A very enjoyable, fun, old-school adventure series with humour for the whole family. Quote
MUFC Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 The Unknown Hitman: The Story of El Cholo Adrián, First season is based on true facts while the second season is more fictional. After Narcos Mexico and Colombia. I'd say this is easily the best of the rest - 8/10. Quote
Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted December 31, 2021 Subscriber Posted December 31, 2021 (edited) Not sure if this has been mentioned in here but me and the wife have been watvhing a 8 part mini-series and it was quite good. nudge Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 (edited) Finished Around The World in 80 Days, and thought it was great. David Tennant is fantastic, the chemistry between him and the other two main actors (Ibrahim Koma & Leonie Benesch) is perfect, the blend of humour and emotion is very well balanced, and Hans Zimmer score is outstanding. The whole adventure is just fun to watch. Great news that Season 2 has already been greenlit, and that they will adapt another Jules Verne novel (Journey to the Centre of the Earth) for it. Hopefully with the same cast. WIth Disney+ filming Nautilus, it looks like adventure genre and particularly Jules Verne adaptations are set for a revival. Edited January 2, 2022 by nudge Quote

The whole season was released by ZDF earlier in December in Germany, whereas BBC has only two episodes out so far. I think the next one comes out tomorrow! 1 Quote

MUFC Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 Watched the first episode of the silent sea. Quite intriguing, can't wait to dwell into it more. 1 1 Quote
nudge Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 Recently finished watching White Wall, a Swedish-Finnish mystery thriller sci-fi series. Loved it, and couldn't stop watching it. Very suspenseful, eery and atmospheric, and the story is pretty novel and unique. Hopefully there will be Season 2... https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9648870/ 2 Quote
MUFC Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 Somo om Netflix, only 8 episodes. True story about the 2011 massacre in Allende, Mexico, by the Zetas drug cartel. THis isn't like Narcos, it's slow with the odd touch of action and killings. Most killings happen in the final episode. Really sad story with great character relationships - 8.5/10. Quote
MUFC Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Me and my brother got ready to watch Snowpiercer season 2. Anyway, it was removed on 1st Jan ☹ Quote

MUFC Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 The Stranger on Netflix, 8 episodes in total. Didn't fulfil the potential it built in the first 2 episodes - 7.8/10. Quote
Subscriber Viva la FCB+ Posted January 25, 2022 Subscriber Posted January 25, 2022 Just wrapped up Mr Robot. Man what a series. This is definitely one of the top couple series ive seen in recent years. I love the unpredictability of it all and the end reveal is just chef's kiss. Highly, highly recommend. Rami Malek is so, so good. 1 Quote
MUFC Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 (edited) Watched the first episode of Archive 61. Kind of freaked me out. Good foundation has been laid. Hope it progresses well. Edited January 27, 2022 by MUFC Quote
OrangeKhrush Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 South Park Special - Post Covid A return to Covid Eric Cartmen gets some character redemption but the ending was rather harsh. 1 Quote
Harry Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 The Great. Anti-historical comedy about Catherine the Great. Enjoyable watch Quote

MUFC Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Archive 81 - Only 8 episodes, but this is really good. The switching of stories of the 2 main characters and the method of communication between them makes this a cleverly made series. Last 20 minutes was tense, there will be a second season. Quote
nudge Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Started watching V a while ago as I haven't watched it before when it originally aired. Halfway through Season 1, it's really good... Quote
