Dr. Gonzo Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 I think it'll be: 1 - Manchester City 2-4 - some mix of us, Spurs, and Chelsea 5 - Probably United, but I'll say Arsenal 6 - Probably Arsenal, but I'll say United No idea who'll go down. Plenty of contenders tbh, but I'll say that I don't think Wolves or Fulham will go down. Wolves because they've got that dodgy deal with Mendes, so they've got a bunch of seasoned players with quality that most promoted sides don't get. Fulham strengthened pretty well imo.

Administrator Stan Posted August 8, 2018 Author Administrator Posted August 8, 2018 I'm with @Stortson this. Arsenal will improve definitely under Emery but will it be enough of an improvement to come above Spurs? I'm not so sure. I think it's City, Liverpool, Spurs and Utd/Arsenal in that order for top 4.
Marc Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Top 4 will be the same as last season. Chelsea are in bits and Arsenal have signed Europa league players. spurs have kept hold of their best players around a difficult time with stadium move etc. That’s their biggest success this summer and more important than signing players. I actually think it’s be difficult for spurs to improve the first 11 because they’d need genuine world clas players and probably wouldn’t be able to match other clubs for wages

DeadLinesman Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 City Liverpool Tottenham Arsenal United Chelsea dont care......

Liverpool were the better team and had you had a video ref maybe the first goal would have been dissaload but Liverpool still would have attacked with more intensify. They're not gonna keep attacking at 3.0 up. Apart from the first half at your place Liverpool were much better

Machado Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 City and Liverpool - a two way title race. As for the rest, I'm more interested in seeing who the 7th team will be. Would be nice if Wolves made it.

Goals change games. If Liverpool first goal is given offside. They may be go one nill up instead of 2. Defend more because they don't want to give a goal away. City aren't attacking so much because they are only one down. You may have won if there had been a video ref but it's not certain. The game wouldnt had panned out the same had there been a video ref

Guest Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 @Happy Blue I'd be very happy with a draw. I don't think you'll rip us apart like last season because i think we will defend better but it will be very tough for us. I think we will concede possession and look to counter fast. From what i have seen of us in pre season we won't fuck around so much in the final third. I think emery is a good tactition and city can struggle under pressure but its hard to put them under pressure. The one advantage we have is our players should be fresher because a lot of them didn't get so far in the world cup

Our world cup players (17) have only just returned so you are playing us at the right time

Hope not anyway
Dave Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 There isn't just six teams in this league you tossers.
