didn't know that @Toinho! Explains a lot.

Australia should be level there. Good defending by Peru. Thought Kruse could do better with the pull back too.

Australia vs Peru has been far more entertaining than France vs Denmark.

France a bit boring aren't they?

Think Australia bit unlucky to be behind but it took a very good goal for Peru to go ahead.

Not a great half from us - but we find ourselves 1-0 up. Everyone will pick out Carrillo in that half as Australia can't handle him, but my player of the half is Anderson Santamaria. Absolutely sensational center back.

We've defended well. Australia have been a bit unlucky but Santamaria is having another fantastic half. For me, he's the one that most needs to make the move to Europe this summer.

Denmark's National Anthem would put a child to sleep.

 Try watching France play.

Their national team should just be dissolved and their players distributed around Europe rather than forcing them to play under Deschamps.

France have been terrible although Denamark has too which says a lot. Enough about that game...

Perú have had some good moments early on with a fantastic volleyed goal by Carrillo. But then one has to say Australia should’ve equalised. A very 50/50 first half.

Would say we've had more than the balance of play. Peru had their goal, that's it. :(

Juric has to come off. Cahill on.

Then, Kruse off Arzani on.

and chuck on sexy Luongo.

All of this is irrelevant if France and Denmark play out a scoreless draw unless fucking Nzonzi scores or some shit.

When you're possibly the most stacked country in the world in terms of attacking midfield talent but your coach can't get any of them to actually receive the ball in the important part of the pitch.

Left-footed volley goes in from close range. Looked like it was deflected.

Fantastic assist from Cueva. It was a bit lucky with the deflection but the idea was ace and it was only a slight touch from Jedinak. 2-0!

Worst thing about this? Jedinak signed a letter to FIFA to give that coke head a chance at the world cup. We are too nice.

Both sides are not even putting some effort France Denmark

To be fair, there's absolutely no reason for either of them to risk anything. They're both through and no doubt they'll know th Australia score too which suits Denmark obviously.

No shame in bowing out to 3 of the world's top 15 sides. Just hurts as we haven't been dominated at all.

I get Denmark not putting some effort but France ? They haven't perfomed as expected so they should at least show sonething as their is no pressure on them.

No argument. It's boring as shit, but he wins so at what point do you really fuss?

There is some pressure, France don't want to risk having to play Croatia next round, and would fair much better against Nigeria and/or Argentina.
