I think Japan is the best Asian side in the tournament. And by some distance. And they were one of the top 2 sides in the AFC qualification.

Competition wise Iran has been the top Asian side since 2014. They haven't lost to Asian opposition since CQ came the only defeat came to Iraq at asian cup on penalties.

But Japan play football that is enjoyable to watch so this gives them a big edge.

They've been terrible since minute one. Granted, one quality strike (offside in build up) and a slightly fortunate second. Defensively they've been rubbish. But yes agreed, we have no strikers 😂

Just got in but glad to see Peru going out with a win. Enjoy @Blue. If not for that missed penalty in the first game, could easily be carrying on the story and I'm sure many people would rather see Peru go through than Denmark who have been dull as sin and continue in that manner today. Not surprised that France and Denmark look set to serve up the first 0-0 of the tournament.
