Red card for the Swiss defender. Should have done what Jorgensen and 'made a genuine attempt to get the ball'. Instead he just pushed him in the back.

Didn't Engalnd won in Euro 2012 against Sweden ?

Yeah we beat them in a friendly which ended the long winless run against them then beat them at euro 2012. We lost the last game 4.2 with the overhead kick goal

Hard to do when you're about to go out the world cup

Why aren't the biggest clubs in Europe going all out for Ricardo Rodríguez?!?

Because he couldn't deliver a decent cross when it mattered

That was bollocks like.

Sweden finished above Netherlands and defeated France in qualifiers.

Eliminated Italy in the play offs.

Played their part in knocking out Germany in the group stages.

How long will it continue ?

His crosses got funny at some point and the same goes for Shaqiri. What on earth was this by Switzerland. Terrible effort.

For me his crossing was very good.  The reason it may not have looked that good is because the Swiss are crap up front!

I counted three occasions where Rodríguez had it difficult to get his cross in, managed it and the front line didn't bother to make an attempt because they seem to be used to mediocrity.

That was awful, Switzerland once again living up to their image of being good in the group stages and then bottling it completely afterwards. Rodriguez crossing was horrible today, not his day at all, same applies to Shaqiri, but the whole team was extremely disappointing and barely created any chances throughout 90 minutes. No idea why they kept playing long balls upfront when it was obvious that it's not working against a well-organized Swedish defence.

I'm running out of teams to root for :(
