Administrator Stan Posted July 3, 2018 Author Administrator Posted July 3, 2018 Red card for the Swiss defender. Should have done what Jorgensen and 'made a genuine attempt to get the ball'. Instead he just pushed him in the back.

Administrator Stan Posted July 3, 2018 Author Administrator Posted July 3, 2018 Lawro up in arms saying 'THIS IS WHERE VAR IS WRONG'. Then realised the correct decision was made and he was just getting confused

Azeem Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Sweden finished above Netherlands and defeated France in qualifiers. Eliminated Italy in the play offs. Played their part in knocking out Germany in the group stages. How long will it continue ?
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted July 3, 2018 Subscriber Posted July 3, 2018 Disgraceful match for Switzerland although Sweden were really lucky with that deflection.

The reason it may not have looked that good is because the Swiss are crap up front! I counted three occasions where Rodríguez had it difficult to get his cross in, managed it and the front line didn't bother to make an attempt because they seem to be used to mediocrity.

nudge Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 That was awful, Switzerland once again living up to their image of being good in the group stages and then bottling it completely afterwards. Rodriguez crossing was horrible today, not his day at all, same applies to Shaqiri, but the whole team was extremely disappointing and barely created any chances throughout 90 minutes. No idea why they kept playing long balls upfront when it was obvious that it's not working against a well-organized Swedish defence. I'm running out of teams to root for
