Bundesliga 2016/2017 - Matchday 27 - Midweek Fixtures

Don't think I'm being dramatic when I say that this is a must win game for Köln tonight. The chasing pack could become a lot closer tonight if results go their way and it's imperative Köln get something tonight.

Gladbach needs to win against Hertha if they are going to Europe next year. But on this form, I'm not sure that'll happen.

3 points against Schalke would be brilliant, but I don't have a good feeling about it...

It's crazy how time flies though, only 8 matchdays left until the end of season, it feels like it has just begun, ffs.

The longest time is the summer break when there's no wc.

1-0 HT, it's going pretty well so far! We haven't created much chances, but managed to score again, and Schalke look very unconvincing so far. Hope we manage to hold onto our lead, 3 points would be soooooo good.

Entertaining first half in Sinsheim. Very good performance from Hoffenheim. Poor from Bayern.

WERDER!!!

3-0, really didn't expect that haha. It only gets better with every matchday. At least until tomorrow, we're 8th in the league :D

Well done little green men.  The 04 side were truly pathetic and did not deserve to do anything other than lose.  this might shake up the powers that be to realise how totally rubbish the so-called new signing are and get someone who will go back to the batter players who are being ignored or treated unprofessionally by the bench.  Time to look elsewhere - again and again an..........

Mixed feelings about BVB's match today. Very uninspiring for a long time. HSV had many chances to equalize. Bürki was awesome, Shinji was great and Castro had a good game as well!

Bremen's winning streak is scary! :D Very happy for them!

We gonna win the league.

But seriously, just finished watching the game delayed. We played a good first half and played sensible counter attacking football to wreck them 2nd half. We defended so well at times it was suspicious. But we ballers. 6 or more points from Frankfurt/hamburg/ Ingolstadt and we might even play European football next season

That was a big win for Köln last night, if Monchengladbach can do them a favour and take points from Hertha tonight, it won't have been a bad couple of days for FC.

Crazy that after Bayern defeat yesterday, that Bremen is on the best form in the Bundesliga.

Gladbach are going to need to turn things around quickly if they are going to get back to Europe. Time is quickly running out and their remaining fixtures don't get much harder than this, Koln and the Dortmund match.

What a goal from the 19 year old, Benes, for his first every Bundesliga goal.

1-0 Gladbach

Ingolstadt is up 1-0. If they aren't careful they might stay up this year.

Leverkusen up 1-0 on Darmstadt.

Stindl is having a howler of a match. 2 clear chances for a goal, and nothing from it.

Big win for Gladbach, no doubt about it. Tried to give it away at the end, but ended up snagging it 1-0.

Other results are:

Mainz 2 - 3 Leipzig
Wolfsburg 0-1 Freiburg
Augsburg 2-3 Ingolstadt
Darmstadt 0-2 Leverkusen

LMFAO your picture destroyed me. I like Leipzig for three big reasons :1) They are a new team and I always have soft spot for new teams 2) Their coach is literally my favourite of last year: Hasenhuttlh. I just like the way he made Ingolsdadt playing and they reached like 9th place which was such a good place for them. 3) Timo Werner (I love da moves of the guy), Keita and Emil Fosberg are three of my favourite players in Bundesliga.

They played a fantastic season and they deserve to be in that place even if I wish they would be 1st . They have been 2nd all season and It woulnd't be fair if Hoffenheim or BVB take the silver over them.
