Dortmund Team Bus Hit By Explosion; Bartra Injured - Suspect Arrested

Recommended Posts

Club are saying that the explosion happened on the bus rather than outside it so it could just be an accident that's caused this rather than it being terrorist activity. Hopefully if this is the case the game can go ahead and the safety of everyone can be assured.

Game has been delayed (confirmed).

The Telegraph are saying it's a "bomb" and that the game is suspended due to suspicion of further activity.

According to Bild (so to be taken with caution), explosive devices were hidden in the bushes next to the street.

Only poor quality photos of the bus yet, seems that windows are shattered.

a firecracker apparently hitting the window and smashing it.

surely if it was ISIS (or any terrorist group) they'd do it on a larger scale, not just a fire-cracker from the side of a bush.

What would the point of this be?

Wonder if it was just some drunk bellend not realising how much of a dick they're being.

ISIS, as they are know, aren't some super organised gang of professional terrorists, outside of a small portion. Most of them are thick, criminals incapable of devising anything beyond the most basic 'attack', hence the vehicle hijacks etc.

It does seem fairly weak though, given their 'followers' usually seem to be driven by death this doesn't seem very efficient.

I doubt this is ISIS, but this is truly some weird shit.

If this was a terrorist attack, I wonder how many people will become severly anti-immigration and Islam after this.

Oh do fuck off. I was wondering because of the climate in Dortmund at the moment. A fellow I know from Dortmund has told me Neo-Nazism is on the rise in the ultra groups. This is the first time that anyone famous has been affected by an 'attack' (if it is) and people are far more prone to reacting to their celeberity cults than unknown people in Sweden.
