I don't even know who that is and they him at 50M. xD

He's a good young LB playing for Leicester who recently made his England debut.... but £50m?

The football world has gone mad.

I think City proved why having proper wing backs is worth what ever investment.

Not really, ours cost us £12m combined.

Anyway, they just spent over £100m on FB's didn't they?

It's why Utd couldn't compete with them according to Mourinho!

Why do they need another FB stupidly quoted at that price?

And yet they dominated all premier league records last season :what:

I didn't give them stick for investing in their weakness nor did I give you lot stick for Allison or VVD. It needed to be done.

Mendy looks to be struggling with finding full fitness. Chilwell could well be worthy of the investment from what I've seen.

Yeah maybe, I just think £150m on 3 FB's is a little excessive.

I don't understand the valuations anymore, seems like a player's value is totally arbitrary. Chillwell's a good player though - but so was Shaw before he made the similar sort of move, so it's hard to say how it'll pan out.

Is your name Jose Mourinho?

This seems steep but I rate Chilwell. Not that this is any more than paper talk right now and if it goes through it'd probably be more like 40m but I do think it's a worthwhile investment for City. Delph as second choice left back is one of their few weaknesses and it's not like they'll blink at having to pay 40m-50m to improve their squad.
