Really, really hope Newport get a big away tie. Not only because it means we'd likely have gone out next round anyway but it'd be nice to see them get some kind of reward for it.

No doubt they get Brentford away who I've wanted us to get for years.

Crossing my fingers and toes that Millwall v West Ham comes out. That is the exact kind of tie this competition needs to breathe life into it.

Yeah this round was pretty shit (not just saying that cos of our result yesterday). But it needs some derbies to place some kind of importance back in to it. Millwall vs West Ham, Man City/Liverpool/Utd, Palace vs Brighton.

Wouldn't mind seeing some all-lower-league ties as well so they can get further in the competition.

TV Picks:
Arsenal vs Man Utd
Barnet vs Brentford
Millwall vs Everton
AFC Wimbledon vs West Ham

And if there's a 5th tie, Accrington vs Derby or Southampton

Millwall have a knack of going far in the FA Cup. Playing them away is a tough draw for us.

Hopefully we're in slightly better form by the time this comes around. At the end of the day with the amount spent on players and wages at Everton and the fact they're a Championship side there really is no excuse not to beat them, it's the FA Cup though and also we're a bit shit.

Still, the draw is opening up more than we could have expected already. Liverpool gone, and one of United or Arsenal to follow. We win this and there's a sniff of an opportunity perhaps.

Old hat that, he actually played and scored for us against them in the third round back in the day, seem to remember it was an evening game so could have been a replay.

Fine.

Looking at the ties that never were... If Cardiff had knocked out Gillingham it would have been Swansea v Cardiff.

I don't know or care how the numbers on the balls would have changed by the way so don't burst my imaginary bubble.

Ball number would stay the same. So it would have been Swansea vs Cardiff.
